Perhaps there are only a few templates from which all engineers are cloned from? Love to hear your thoughts my friends!

If humans lose hairs and lose the skin color to say off white or blue, they all will look like engineers.
So does not look like clones.
Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.

But if all engineers had hair and normal skin they would look like CLONES!

I can't sat if they are clones or not... I don't even know if they are genderless...

Of the Engineers that appear in the movie..only the last one seemed capable of independent thinking...
In writing the words I thought about the Sacriificial Engineer...Was he programmed...or brainwashed by religious teachings... Those vacant eyes just seemed lifeless/souless..
The Elder Engineer..passing out the Goo? Independent thinker..or doing a routine job?
 Clones...I just don't know,,

It seems, to me, that they look alike, not identical - that's, perhaps, the first thing?
It seems doubtful, in that light, that they are clones...
That aside: personally, I'd dislike the idea of them being clones.
An actual race seems to have more scope, to me...

Yes, yes, they could..to be honest, someone would need to sell it to me a bit more..flesh it out a little...
If you just say, "clones", like that, the first irrational and prejudiced thought that comes into my head is, "Wow. Then what?".
I think the danger is the, "a million of the same enemy", thing - like Agent Smith or something - a "race" of clones, that just happens to be clones.
It would be nice if you could juice that cloney-ness up a little, for my entertainment?
Why a race of clones?
Cloning is a very strange thing.
A "race" of Clones, is not really a "race" - it is multiples of the same individual. It does not, cannot, change over generations.
They can never be worse, but they can never be better either.
That's an eternal snapshot of a being, experiencing itself from multiple, disassociated perspectives and....... over to you.
