I'd love to see it, I saw it in 3D at my local theater.....but sadly my guess is they're biding all their time and space for Dark Knight Rises.

Yes. I see another Detention in your future, Mr. Tremayne...

Probably not. Most cineplexes have only one IMAX unit and they rotate the films in sequentially, here it went from Prometheus to Spider Man to Dark Knight, not sure what will come after, although I expect Dark Knight will be there a while.
The R rating for Prometheus really did limit the audience, unfortunately. But at least the studio stood behind it anyway.

I only got a chance to see Prometheus once in IMAX 3D so nothing would make me happier. Well, maybe a director's cut in IMAX 3D!

"the Orrery... it was so incredibly beautiful, made me wish I was right there with my fave character David"

Well, come to Poland? They're playing Prometheus in IMAX 3D just now. I saw the movie in 2D yesterday, I'm still wondering if it's really worth seeing it in 3D?

Dustie: Yes, it is worth seeing in 3D as well. If only I had the funds for a trip to Poland or even Germany since it still hasn't been released there yet.

When the ship bailed the Engineer by tilting up. And the scenes of the Prometheus on approach through the atmosphere. They were just epic. And then the orrery. I have no words for that. It was art.
Didnt some link from this site mention that all the video was down converted for processing? Does that mean that those scenes could've been even clearer?!?!
