great characters

the alien films have alot of great attributes , one of them is the cast. They always seem to have flamboyant and lively characters. hudson (bill paxton) from aliens must be one the most memorable , kind ofa cowardly hero if that makes any sense lol. vasquez (janette goldstein) was a good one too, loved that scene in the airduct with the alien, her foot on its head and unloading the gun on it...fantastic anyone else got any favourites?

For me the charactor of Vickers is memorable,,because she is in many of the key scenes,,,doesn't seem to do that much..and gets crushed in the end. Too much of her in nthe movie not to be significant in the storyline...though her story has not been completely told.

Fifield was so promising. I think he could have done with some more screen time but the "I love rocks" and then run away seemed a bit odd. Give me some more backstory to why he acted that way and I might forgive it.

Captain Janek... probably for the reason that he was played brilliantly by Idris Elba.

I thought the entire speaking cast was long and strong and that the corresponding Characters actually had really a truckload of potential - mostly, they just seem to have been very poorly instructed and used... If, from that perspective, a, "favourite", then it is Meredith Vickers that seems the biggest waste of an opportunity, to me. By a wide, wide margin.

I thought entire speaking cast was acceptable. Unfortunately, the dialogue was almost childlike except for David 1's lines. I wish Dan O'Bannon had been around... or even H. P. Lovecraft.
