What to ignore in this movie..

"..On a final note: Prometheus is faar waaaaaaaaaaaayyyy from 2001. There is no movie with the same aestethics, mind bogling material, sound escaping, plot ambiguity ever done since 2001, and there will never be another one.'' As I sit here now I enjoyed Prometheus better than 2001...because the storyline was told in tighter presentation.. 2001 was more dramatic..with the long scenes so you needed to keep yourself awake... Thought provoking-yes Visuals...oK Enjoyable,,not as much as Prometheus..

Indy: those are your thoughts, and I accept them. But keep in mind. 2001 is a Space Opera. Prometheus is a Space Horror flick trying to emulate 2001 "on steroids". So said Ridley.

i can't ignore all the problems and inconsistencies; that's my problem!

I would be happy if i could ignore most of the scenes in the movie, but the stupidity was so "in ya face" that there was no escape...

@Cypher: Pfft... come on dude... don't you know that the worms are covered with an ecto-plasmic paralyzing agent? His nervous system froze the instant the worm breached his mouth and the agent was absorbed through his buccal mucosa. DUH? Some people.......... ;c)
