New Standard of Conduct added to the Forum Rules

MemberOvomorphJuly 22, 2012934 Views11 RepliesRecently, for a long while actually, we've begun to notice that some of our members seem to think that because they posted a particular opinion, members who disagree have no business challenging that opinion, only those in agreement have the right to comment and the OP vigorously goes after the disagreeing party as though they don't have a right to express themselves in the OP's thread.
This is, of course, not the case and totally against what we believe here. We on the staff see it from time to time and so we've written the following and have added it to the other 'standards of conduct' on the [url=http://www.prometheus-movie.com/community/forums/topic/2594]Forum Rules - Please Read[/url] thread:
[b]Remember that the posting of an opinion will ALWAYS invite disagreement with that opinion, a challenge to it. That is the nature of expression and conversation. No member here ever has the right to question another's right to counter, challenge, question or disagree with any opinion. Don't assume that because you posted an opinion to be agreed with, it won't be challenged.
