Ridley has said many times that Deckard is a replicant . I kinda tend to believe Ridley's opinion on the matter, just sayin' LOL! Click-->Ridley Scott confirms that Deckard is a Replicant The Tyrell one is not from Ridley himself but still is on a documentary so it is legit. Click-->Eldon Tyrell from Blade Runner was supposed to be replicant

Yer brilliant ending but harrison ford hated it and always wanted the original ending to be Deckard as a human...I think from the original book Do androids dream of electric sheep

@Crabfart; Just make sure you don't dream of unicorns, if none show up in your dreams you are not a Replicant. Also, the book was nothing like the movie. O: If you see this in your dreams, you're a Replicant-->Robot Unicorn Attack Song

And remember, that seeing the Invisible Pink Unicorn, the same goes to Flying Spaghetti Monster, is bad for your health, and can get you to the endless dissectioning of Creativism vs Darwinism, and that will make you the proper one to write the Promey vs Human Centipede branch of the new franchise. LOL.

Scott said Deckard is a Replicant, undeniable after the scene in Blade Runner when you see his retina shine (like catseyes on the road... cheap but very effective). In the origanal script Tyrell was also a replicant to be seen... because his brain was in a shark in a tank... but when you a seat of power like that (can you say pyramid) you can do anything when to further your lifespan your have that knowledge (Can you say god complex) I do find Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep and Blade Runner one of the only cases where the film complements the book (same base themes), Pillip K. Dick thought the same as he saw some of the film because he sadly died before it was finished! In a terrible cut scene/ending I have... at the end of the film Deckard looks over at Rachael and the terrible voice-over states "We were made for each other."

now, a chance for me to be serious. the question about Deckard being a replicant is the one that bothers people for almost 30 years. but my question is - is it really worthy? i've got some other questions, and, seeing virals of Pierce reading Nietzsche, remembering Batty in THE final scene of BR... Does it really matters? Maybe we should change our point of focus, get some books, not necessarily SF, and you know, GET THE ANSWERS ourselves? Check the Bible, check the, funny a bit, "Gay Science" by Nietzsche etc? Just throwing some ideas to stop this everlasting babbling. C'mon, there are bigger issues to confront, than "Is Deckard a replicant or not". :-D

MishaPL: "Maybe we should change our point of focus, get some books, not necessarily SF" You know, most people here are highly educated people. Most of the people here actually read books. Most of the people here actualy have a lot other interests than the same old Bible or Nietzsche [wich is a darned boring read to no end and, btw said nothing new at all]. All I can say is that these nice folks have some taste on intelectual debating about what this Forum is concerned: Prometheus, Alien and Blade Runner; i.e. SciFi literature turned into movies [which is also what these fine folks enjoy].

@David 1 I apologise, if my statements are read as disregarding anyone. I'm here, because people here have the taste and knowledge etc. On the contrary, my way of communication and expression, even in real life, can be described as somewhat offensive, well, I'm just like this. No offence to anybody.

Well @MishaPL I'm considered offensive in person too! You have not offended me at all... I am in a bad mood and I should leave that at the door. Communication is enlightenment between people! I do apoligise if I sounded rude in any way!

@punx - it's ok for me, communication is the key. :) let' talk, let's be bold sometimes, and, @Dave1, it's just the place, where we're exchanging ideas. :) @Dave1 - relax, there's nothing trolling. just provoking sometimes. and @punx - in Poland we call it "big five" - some sort of shakehand.

MishaPL: I'm known for being a "straight in your face" kind of person. Sometimes even taken as being rude. I try to be as humble as I can - and I can't stand rudeness - so, don't take my words as an atack. I'm not like that at all. All is good, yes?
