I thought you guys and gals might be interested in seeing this: an image or poster for the second "Aliens" movie (fan art I believe). Eerie, yet beautiful in its details of the egg and facehuggers...like an Alien flower of life/death!

oh my! thank you very much for posting that image. Quite beautiful. In fact, it is one of the neatest pieces of franchise art anyone has posted here (imo). I cant believe i didnt know about this thing?! any possible way to get a hi res file? anyone have the actual poster or a better scan? id love to have this in my archives. thanks again.

this guy also did one for Prometheus, although I don't think it's as effective.

@jim100a100: thanks for the link! Although a completely different aesthetic from much of the aliens promotional artwork, i had just assumed it must be a "franchise" piece because of the quality of the work. thats some solid "fan art". I checked the guys etsy shop and unfortunately, this is by far his best piece (i wish the prometheus piece was better! would rather have prome art right now). Anyhoo...i might just pick this little beauty up.
