The lone Engineer

Guess he survived from whatever happened there. @ search you can type 'engineer' you get a lot of these kind of threads :) - - - can't remember what read in them '_'

Hi Apex & welcome to the site :-) The other 3 Engineer cryochambers had holes in them, blink & you could miss that though! We have no real idea of why only the one survived, but of course lots of theories & speculation. You can use the search facility @ the top of the page to search for other threads on this topic.

Do we then assume that the 3 engineers died in their hyper sleep chambers because of something bursting out of them ? If so what removed them from their chambers after dying ?

Presumably yes! They may have been removed, but more likely that they are still in their cryos & after 2000 or so years there wouldn't be much left of them. As David doesn't look at those we are left completely in the dark about that. Were they amongst the pile of dead engineers?

Hi Apex, and be very welcome: My personal beliefe is that "Bob" [the sleeping Engineer] killed the other ones via something he released. The rest of the gang here have their own theories as well. Gives yours, share with the peeps.

Hi, welcome apex My guess is that the other three engineers escaped the disaster that was going on by getting in the hypersleep chambers, but they were already infected when they did. So, after they got in the hypersleep chambers, the creatures inside them bursted out.

I think the bodies are still in there in some state of messy decay. The footage just was not shown in the cut of the film we have seen.

whos to say that even 'bobs' statsis chamber. i mean bob could of been a sole survivor and merely just occupied the said chamber. im sure if aliens came out of the other chambers they wouldnt over look a life form that they could " infect" or kill. the room was sealed , nothing else was found was there?

Hm.. The way I see it is that, now that they're out of his life, he's so much better?... They thought that he'd be weak without them, but he's stronger. They thought that he'd be broke without them, but he's richer. They thought that he'd be sad without them - he laughed harder. They thought he wouldn't grow without them - now, he's wiser. Thought that he'd be helpless without them - but he's smarter. They thought that he'd be stressed without them, but he's chillin'. They thought he wouldn't sell without them? Sold 9 million. Another thing i noticed on here in the gallery section is how the Engineer helmet is modeled after the facehugger. So factor that along with the murals and its more clear the engineers worship the xenos. Thoughts?

the possibility of them worshiping them could be in your favor apex, as i mean with the alien artwork and as u shared. i just want to bodybuild so bad now so that i could resemble a engineer but im not near tall as that actor who was the original engineer. i would love to grip my friends neck and give that sympathetic look like i agree with you and then pretend to take her head off
