@simonpaulpeace: Sure...some didnt enjoy prometheus. However, all data at our disposal suggests that you are in the minority. Personally, i found the film quite compelling. Seems as though you are having trouble following your own advice (the whole...moving on thing). Hopping on to a prometheus discussion forum to complain about the film is antithetical to moving on???

It was disappointing but only because I suppose the hype was way over the product - if it was a first time director maybe more people would like it. And yes actually I think more people thought it was an average film than a good / brilliant film so I think maybe the lovers are in minority ! ...

the only thing that i was disapointed in were the monsters they were shit,for lack of a better word. even the the proto type xenomorph at the end wasnt that good. I like the classic style of creature ( the one featured in alien 1 and 2) and the egg ,facehugger, chestbuster then xenomorph routine. the black goo has apeel.....but i like the routine.

I wonder how Sir Scott feels? I mean, I didn't see a gun held to his head when he told us " It's about everything" and " I want to scare the S**t out of you". How much blame does he take for raising the bar a bit to high? I blame myself for reading to many articles and knowing to much going into the theater. I made that mistake with TDK. I didn't with TDKR. And I hope I don't with Mad Max Fury Road.
