Wow! I liked it! Nice one Patch. I do have a couple of questions though.
1) What were they growing in the labs? Human parts?
2) Was his girlfriend a replicant?
The poster was good though!

Thanks I will to DW it to see. Nice find by the way.
Uncertainty is the only certainty there is, and knowing how to live with insecurity is the only security.

ZOMG Giovanni Ribisi xx
@necronom 4; They were growing meat product (pork and chicken) for human consumption. I assume it is a way to get huge amounts of food to people without having to farm live animals, uses less resources. And yes I think she is a replicant of sorts. She appears to have no immune system, that is why he can't touch her, because he would contaminate her. It is also why she died. Notice, when she died he takes her DNA (saliva) with his glove and saves it to make another copy of her (he folds the glove inside out to save the DNA) and from the final scenes it seems she isn't the first one/copy he has created either.
*Loved the way she ran out and attacked the cops, just like Zhora and Priss attacked Deckard.
**AWESOME 3D quality if you download it direct from the site. You can see the pores on people's faces. Beautiful detail. LOOM 3D download HD

Thanx Svanya! I thought that they may have been using the term "pork" as slang for human flesh lol. It's quite a sad story actually.
The poster was good though!

Thank you a lot for the link. I enjoyed the Short Movie. It is very beautiful and clever. It should be a perfect pre-bladerunner short. Very nice. I hope that the father will take some influence from a so sensible approch of a so dark subject. I love it ! (Acid tear is coming)

Wow!
The poetry of image, the drowning roar of silence, is ownership and creation tied to love somehow... and are we lessened or held aloft by it.
Thank you Patch...

I watch it over and over and now all I hear is "My freinds are toys... I made them".
The electronic confessional, phsyc-doc reminds me of Hal, but moreso of Mercer and the "confessional" of THX-1138... as faceless and seemingly unconerned as big-brother!

Punx:
"phsyc-doc reminds me of Hal".
I thought exactly the same.

I also saw that similarity.
Overally, this is a wonderful short with an amazing atmosphere at some times, in my opinion.
Have you heard of phoenix asteroids?
They glow in every color of the rainbow...they travel endlessly through space...
