lol! personally, im hoping for just shaw and david (as far as humans go). I think they compliment one another nicely and a range of various issues/themes can be explored using these two characters. Id like to see shaw and david exploring (intelligently) the engineers' home planet. They could witness/ uncover a lot of subtle little pieces of information on a seemingly uninhabited planet. Only to find out halfway through that the planet is, in fact, inhabited. I would like for the sense of discovery to be very high in the next film. Lots of foreign revelations, no xenos (other than a few pieces of information about them), a few engineers. Sounds fun. Think planet of the apes, but way out there.

The two blokes from 'red letter media' would get the fun and games started! LOL

Yutani will probably come into it at one point - if not you always need bodies for gruesome deaths in this so somone will turn up!

Just an absolute minimal of Shaw and David would be a radical move and a nod to films like 'Silent Running'. Who needs a cast of more - the usual descension into guns/survival and stupid one-liners, no thanks. As some have commented here, the rest of the blank space in a sequel should be populated with the truly ALIEN - the Engineers, planet, and MORE space sequences etc. On the success of Prometheus, maybe the studio will give Scott more creative freedom this time around.

Well . . . no offense ZetaReticuli, but it wouldn't make a lot of sense to just suddenly jump ship and throw out Shaw and David out of the equation, don't you think? And Rapace and Fassbenger are producing the sequel so that probably isn't going to happen
