I don't know if this is the right place, but I have seen a strange thing. The 14th Prometheus began in Italy but any media of my knwoledge mentioned the movie and no ads in any place. Is it normal?

Well, the same happened with Star Wars prior to May, 1977, there wasn't heavy promotion, it was word of mouth that spread the news of the phenomenon, then the media got in on it to cover it.

At this stage, having more than doubled it's filming budget in box office returns, it appears as if they (Fox) simply don't care about promoting it further perhaps? Not too sure otherwise, but that'd be my best guess on it................
