HELP ME CATCH UP !

LV-223 and LV-426 are the designation of the moons in the star system that the original Derelict spacecraft and the most recent Prometheus movies take place. You REALLY need to watch the original Alien and Aliens movie. 3. I've never seen any hint of the Space Jockeys in any other movie. 4. No, Blade Runner and the Alien universe have only ever been mentioned very passingly, Ridley Scott directed both the original Blade Runner and Alien movies. That's about it. In the extras on the Prometheus blu-ray there is a passing reference to Eldon Tyrell, the maker of the Replicants from Blade Runner, but the 2 don't technically exist in the same universe.......... There are no stupid questions either dude ;-) but you may want to go and do a bit of reading online, and watch Alien and Aliens to get a better idea of what we're dealing with here ;-)

One more thing... I luv reading all tha ideas and facts people have on tha Ancient Alien topics. Tha thoughts people have on tha next movies. And tha thoughts on tha connections with tha Alien movies. I haven't even come close to reading all tha discussions on this site, but so far I haven't heard anybody mention tha Alien vs Preditor movies and what that stuff relates to everything. I mean they could've done those 10x better and they would've kicked ass. But tha story with those movies to me kind of conflicts tha relationship with tha Aliens and tha Engineers. I would luv to believe that those movies could somehow tie into tha Alien/Prometheus dynamic, but is it possible???Tha beginning or end of one of tha AVP movies where tha Preditors were helping tha Egyptions evolve or whatever, and then Using them to breed Aliens had me wishing that they'd make a movie going in that direction. Talking more about early man and ET contact. And then bam Prometheus Came out and now I can't get enough! S*** I know I'm rambling like crazy, and I feel like A nerd, but I need some damn answers asap

And dude, please, "tha" is not at all correct English, hate to be a grammar nazi here, but that is REALLY annoying....................................... It makes it very hard to read and understand in a sentence.

Don't mean any offence at all with that at all, but you aren't sending texts to you friends here, so it's more a matter of mutual dignity. If people get a headache trying to read your posts, they're more likely to not want to read what you're posting. I personally can't stand txt spk, and even when I'm texting people, I use full sentences. It's why I got a smartphone with a full keyboard after all ;-)

I've just never heard of someone finding it hard to read tha word THA spelled that way. Also I thought this was a movie discussion site, where you're free to speak how ud like to. Crazy to think spelling THA would offend or cause headaches. Haha I'm not trying to Be an ass either, but I'm not even close to using "text chatter" or whatever..

I had to sign up especially for this matter. And writing what I have to say, I believe I speak for everyone who find themselves in my position. My native language isn't English. Because I don't come from an English-speaking country. Thus, my spelling isn't always correct, and to ask me to write as a person who speaks and writes English as their native language, would be plain stupid. But, at least I try to get every sentence and word right and readable. Because, I for one, find it much simpler to read a text that consists of words, instead of shortenings, misspellings and/or colloquialisms. So people please, keep the language clean. ;)

As for the AvP movies, you won't find many on this site that consider them a part of the Alien Universe, a lot of people outside of this place (and honestly there are one or two on here as well ;-) ) will argue till they are blue in the face that they are connected, but they aren't. It would throw quite a few things out of whack. Seriously, Google around, read the Alien Wiki's and watch the first 2 Alien movies, Alien 3 is also good but don't bother with Alien: Resurrection ( I personally call that one Desecration)

Prometheus take place before the events of the first alien film , when we are introduced to a new crew who trip was funded by Peter Wayland , Dr. Elizabeth Shaw has found several cave paintings form several different places that are connected, so she was to find the beings who are responsible for creating us , some of the crew thinks that she is crazy and that she will not find what she is looking for, she find the beings know as the engerneires who are responsible for creating us, but what she wants to understand is why they created us but why they want to destroy us , in the movie some questions will be answered, also pay close attention in the ending when they come face to face with the being as it is the space jockey scene from alien , but notice how the being is alive not dead, an if you are wondering what it was looking at in the telescope the answer is Earth is where it was headed.

I'm not an english major. I make spelling mistakes every now and then, obviously sometimes on purpose. But since everybody on here seems to be able to read and write, just get over a few mispelled word and relax. Now aside from that I have a few more questions... What was David hoping to accomplish when he put tha slime in tha guys drink? He knew its was going to create something, but what did it create? And then when he was infected, and got busy with tha female, it created a different spiecies? So what were tha engineers trying to create with tha slime? Were they using it on themselves and then tha same thing happened to them that happened to tha scientist? And if that's true, then to create a face hugger they would've had to mate with eachother like tha scientists did to produce one? I guess where I'm having trouble is combining tha slime from tha containers, what happens when its injested, and tha result of where a face hugger comes from? I'm sorry if my questions are stupid. I just finally watched tha movie. And I haven't really watched any of tha alien movies.
