Special Edition, extras and alternated scenes on blue ray or DVD?

yeah i think its only on the blu-ray, because i got the blu-ray that also comes with the dvd and i was about to watch the special features on the blu-ray, but i had to get off the tv because my mom wanted to watch something, so i went to the other room and popped in the dvd and the special features that were on the blu-ray were not on the dvd. but unlike yours this dvd had none at all, so idk.

i have the 3-d blu-ray box which includes the non 3-d blu-ray and the standard dvd and a special features disk. (4 disks in all). the blu-ray version of the disk has the deleted scenes but they have not been edited into an extra cut of the film, the movie that you see when you play the movie is the same as the one in the theater. there is no special cut of the film currently available. the deleted scenes are a shown separately. i personally found the deleted scenes very interesting but i was glad none of them were used in the film. my opinion is that the film is right the way it is, but thats just my opinion. the special features disk contains hours of behind the scenes footage which is very interesting to see how much effort went into this amazing film. again, as far as i know there is no cut of the full film currently available that has any additional scenes added back in. only the theatrical release of the full film.

Oh! I still like the movie anyway I was hoping the special edition had some of the R rated scenes such as scares and horror and fixed the rushed pacing of the film. But if their is no special edition and the extras are for the blue ray only, I do feel a bit ripped off but I still like the movie I only got 6 deleted scenes they are quiet interesting and would have had 1 or 2 of them into the movie giving much more detail and development on the characters the rest are like yeah interesting but not for the movie. But I can return it and wait for the cost go down and buy it for a fair price but that's 20th century fox. Thank you so much Jenskarlsson and invaderzim 42 for the information.
