MemberOvomorphOct-12-2012 1:49 PMI agree with you on that. I found that scene to have another meaning but I am puzzled by what it is. The relationship between Weyland and Vickers is mysterious at best. Something deep going on between them. My biggest regret after seeing the special features on the blu-ray is not getting enough of the Yougt Weyland in this film.
This man builds a dynasty in space and I would like to know how he got the corporation to that point. Weyland is a trifecta of movies on its own. On the blu-rau you get the image of him being arrogant, brilliant and very powerful. The man considered himself a god.

This is also in direct correlation with 'David's Objective' & 'Meredith' is not privy to this, only Weyland & David.
Vickers is left to fend for herself.

That scene does not connect to anything, at least when David cut his cam connection at the Engineer chamber, thats because Weyland and David hide a plan between them? she does not trust him. Is there nothing clarifies it from the BluRay?

Whem David cuts the camera feed to Vickers it is as he enter the orrey,,for seemingly the first time(I say that because really knows his way around that part of ship)
He looks in first and then cuts the feed..
On the last viewing of this scene,,I thought there was something in the room that Vickers would recognize,and cause her to get in David's way ..
Vickers never made it into the Pyramid..which is surprisiong since it greatly affected her life..She would die on that moon,,but not see thycaverns..first hand.
My thought was that a Weyland symbol was already on the Engineer's equipment.

(As I wrote yesterday in other topic to you):
She (Vickers) knows he (Weyland) still alive. Turning to the sceen in the briefing room, Weyland apparently have blind faith in them, two doctors, Holloway and Shaw, but unfortunitly plot doesnt make sense, everyone on the movie doing things that didnt make any suitability. Afterwards, everything is changed, bringing us the clinical trial, David gives to Holloway a cursed potion, try mortal testing with him. Later Shaw becoming pregnant, David want to get rid she, confining she in hypersleep. Where do we go from here? Weyland only trusts in David, doesnt trusts in the human being, is a materialistic person.
*Im wondering if the mortal trial was an original Vicker's idea or came from Weyland. From whom comes the order to kill Holloway and take away Shaw?
