Prometheus..Who's in Charge??

Who in in charge of this mission? The Captain? In any other story the Captain(Think Captain Kirk) knows the details,,makes decisions..and and instructs all of the crew.what to do..in the best interests of the mission and crew.. Vickers? She certainly thinks she is running the Show ..but all are rebellious top her behind the scenes leadership..In fact she doesn't display any leadership.... Shaw?...She seems to be the victim of all of the adventures,,and really doesn't lead anyone..but with the story being told through her eyes,,,it is hard to escape her influence.. David? He is an outside player...going around others seemingly having his own agenda.. A character used by others,,,but not the one that others seek out for leadership.. I could go on,.but consider this.. In any other story if there is a life threatening problem,,who do othwer turn to for leadership? In Prometheus..it is more of Mission by Committee..with no overall leader to deal with the various serious episodes or charactors experience,,
