Ist about the Egg morphing Theorie which ridley Show us in the directors cut of alien. In that scene Dallas is morphed Not yet total into an egg.
Brett is already complete morphed into an egg
Ok and since the deacon is no queen, and its the best way for ridley to reintroduce his egg morphing theme and ignore the queen concept.

It seems to me that yes, the eggs Dallas and Brett were turning into would indeed end up having facehuggers in them. And it was a very good idea which I think should have been continued through the series. Seriously chilling.

MemberOvomorphOct-23-2012 6:23 AMMianbailey- what we are assuming here is that there are different forms of Goo for different purposes, hence the Goo at the beginning having a different effect than the Goo in the Urns. Or, the method and quantity of ingestion yields different results. The first possibility gets my vote.
Offworldseeder- it would appear that the Engineers are nearly identical. That, along with apparent lack of certain extremities, suggests they are clones, or something like it. Mechanically produced.

MemberOvomorphOct-23-2012 12:26 PMMy way of thinking has always been that the eggs/facehugger starts off as a much smaller and different organism, almost a bacteria, and is growing/forming as it consumes the host (in this case, Brett and Dallas).
