MemberOvomorphOctober 23, 20121482 Views10 RepliesMuch though I love [i]Prometheus[/i], one thing that bugs me is the portrayal of flight dynamics.
After spending years flying to LV-223, why aren't the operating engines (or the ship itself) facing backwards in a deceleration phase? The only time you see vectored thrust is when the ship is landing.
And when the lifeboat and escape pods shoot towards the planet, why isn't there a controlled descent, with thrusters facing the surface? Instead, they appear to be randomly thrusting all over the shop.
