more engineers on LV223

There's always the possibility, but unfortunately, it doesn't make a difference. Was there another crashed alien ship on LV-246 from a completely different race of aliens that just had a weak or disabled beacon? That's possible too. You see, what's in the movie should be important to the story. If there were other Engineers on LV-233 then the writers didn't think they were important to the story.

@xenotron is it me or was there other pyramids in the back ground when prometheus landed, i think i see 4 in total.

There must be a few more engineers in the base on LV223. I mean in other 4 bases not in the one the crew explored.

@eva I agree with you. the base must be pretty big, loads of ships .

The other pyramids were put in plain view by Ridley. David said there are many other ships. Ergo there were many other Engineers. They could all be dead, of course.

Er, how can you run away from a virus? I'm asking this because it's PLAIN that they were running away from A STEALTH MODE'd pursuer. Or at the very least someone who could ERASE themselves from the holograhic memory system ... I'm talking an Engineer covert ops-type event. 007 Skyfall in Space? Ya never know.. these Engineers are certainly a subversive lot, by nature.

maybe the last guy was infected in a way similar to fifield under the suit, but then I think he looks back as if something is chasing him too. Hmmm.,,, Can't remember if he's looks back or not right now.

THat is why I have a concern posters are trying to re write the script to incorporate,..their personal agenda..into the movie as presented. Their suggestions are interesting but would fit into a different storyline.. As far as extra Engineers..this question was also in my mind,,but never addressed.. The size of the base,,the number of structures,,the amount of material stored in each pyramid(as judged by our story's location) would probably be best adress in a novelization where there are many pages to fill. Think about 'Gone With The Wind..and how many storylines were left out..or altered to fit the screen time.. Maybe the sites posters are sort of asking questions that could not be answered in a 2 hour movie,,,but might be addressed in a 1,000 page novel!
