Paradise begins as Shaw and David make there way to the engineers home planet...Paradise. Shaw repairs David knowing that being whole is dangerous because David has little remorse for the outcome of Shaw but shares in her desire to meet their so called maker. Deep routed plot and script details are still undeveloped, but the basic plot of the movie will result in the discovery that the engineers home world, contains the engineers God. The plot will reveal that the engineers God is an Alien creature (xenomorph). It will be a design we have not quite seen before but similar to the wall morel. It will be a dark, horrible place...afterall the engineers ship and nothing about the previous Alien movies indicate anything we would consider true Paradise. Shaw discovers that the Alien God is the god of the engineers and the engineers are simply pawns, who sacrifice themselves to serve that god and create life on planets as a first step to creating breading grounds for aliens. It will also be revealed that the Aliens (xeno) have a penis like member that penetrates a host at will. This object injects the black goo...thus explaining its origins. Thus the alien is the master, the engineers are the slaves and the humans are just part of the evolution to the creation of alien offspring. The Engineers were once similar to us and were conquored by there out of control xeno experiment. By the end of the movie a ship is sent to investigate LV 223 with Shaw and David aboard...the Alien god wants to complete the mission to destroy earth and thus create more off spring. "Sometimes one must destroy in order to create". By the end of the movie Shaw dies...but see's her father and mother and realizes that there is something beyond all the horror she discovered. David is left on LV223 and the engineer ship which came to investigate gets infected from the xeno left behind in the first Prometheus movie and crashes on nearby LV426. As an irony david is left alive on LV223, and realizes that future life on earth may come back to investigate (like before - due to the cave paintings). In search of there makers and find David...in there image. Sounds great...hope it happens soon. Enjoy!

@ Cerulean Blue - couldn't have said it better! Meh indeed. As much as I love the Alien series minus Resurrection - those cockroaches that call themselves Xenos need to take a backseat! I am tired. Bit silly don't you think? Their bio weapons get out of control and they end up worshipping them as Gods - what the... I don't think so. It's fine, if this is what you want to see in the upcoming sequel, it's all fine and dandy. But to claim that this is going to happen isn't! I want proof Mister S, and I want proof now! So show me your sources!

Not silly, they worship them as gods because they are engineers and they respect them. After all, ASH admired the xeno too. And lets not forget, the engineers ship had a shine with a xeno mural. This plot idea is already been laid out...silly or not. source? proof? This is a plot idea, as titled. for discussion. Im pretty sure they havent even started the script yet. Personally...i love it! Its cool, erotic, intellegent, thought provoking and deep. And best of all...its consistant with the alien/prometheus story line.

Right..i agree with the revious posters said about the engineers being eco maniacs and deeply spiritual.... But i don't feel that he back goo is a weapon...i belive we stumbled on it and believe it can be very unstable.... When whelan asked the engineer to be made immortal he didn't say that wasn't possible... So may be the black goo has diferent properties and is ment to be used in sea water...the engineers are made immortal...their body is then destroyed...reforms itself into a juvenile younger version of itself...and the life created are their offspring..we are their children.. But we killed our parent..and now we must be punished...

i dont think the black goo belongs to the engineers the writing on the containers is different to the writing they used on their doors ect. so maybe the stole it off another race.

I have more plot details which occur when Shaw and David meet the engineers god….as follows: Shaw and David are escorted into a throne chamber by an engineer. They come face to face with the xeno ruler/god of the engineers. The engineer and xeno god seems to be able to communicate with teleplay not words. The xeno god asks (through the engineer and David) Why are you here and where are you from? Shaw states “we are from earth and we came to discover were we are from?. The xeno god seems angry and after a short exchange with the engineer in the room… Shaw asks David to ask “why create us only to destroy us?” The xeno god does not answer, but the engineer does and David translates using they engineers species name for the first time. “An Ahealum long ago sacrificed themselves to create life on your world, to create you. We are not destroyers, we are creator.” Then a female looking engineer (Ahealum) enters the room, mostly naked. She approaches the xeno god and lays upon an alter type table. The xeno god then approaches her and a penis type object emerges from its pelvis area (similar to early HR Giger concepts). The xeno god penetrates her and she expresses pleasure not pain. She begins turning black (as the xeno ejaculates the black goo in her) she starts to liquefy and begins spilling down a channel in the table to a waiting vase (like the vases in the first Prometheus). Shaw starts screaming, Davis turns to shaw with a puzzling look and simply says “The trick, is not minding that it hurts…I think you have your answer Dr. Shaw.” Shaw realizes that the human race was created simply to be sacrificed for the creation of xeno offspring…a new xeno planet…like the bee who pollinates a flower they are simply pollinating there xeno species. More to come my friends!

Sorry, but I'd argue to the contrary. While the Engineers obviously revere the Xeno/Deacon and recognize it as something like "The Perfect Life Form" - the Xeno's are the pawns. The mural shows a Xeno-type creature at the side of the Engineer like a faithful dog. The Engineer definitely has dominion over this creature. It's a master-slave relationship. I believe people were only created as hosts to facilitate the mass-production of the Xeno. (Crash black goo into earth- Xeno creation on a planetary scale) There is NO WAY the engineers are slaves to the Xeno- also no way to know what Paradise holds- sorry.

On the Blue Ray disc Scott says God created the engineers. That doesn't quite square with the idea that the engineers made the xenomorph and it became their God, but I guess it doesn't have to make sense.

I do not believe the engineers created us..simply for meat to be sacrificial offerings,because they do not seem to be religious in a poly/monotheistic sense...more in the sense Taoism...or deeply spiritual in an eco sense.... And i do not believe they know about Xenos...at this time...

How would they have a f@$%ing Xeno shrine then!? There are multiple murals depicting Xeno type creatures!! The black goo is a derivative of the Xeno, like Xeno DNA or something similar. The movie was originally titled "Alien Engineers" -they definitely know about the Xeno. That is a major point of the movie for me.

Dude in our churches we have depictions of horned beast with bats wings...but have you ever seen one...?also the grim reaper... depictions of scary things to keep he masses in check deviate from the path...and this s what will appen a cautionary note.

Um, no. Never have i seen that. THE DIFFERENCE is the CREATURE seen in the ENGINEER'S MURALS actually DOES come into existence at the end!! Also- WE ALREADY KNOW THESE CREATURES EXIST!! (In the movie universe)

I am hoping that paradise is gonna' go down the prophecy route.... So maybe to enter into a sacred place..to get her answers... she has to overcome 7 tasks....because she has to break the 7 seals...or 7 locks if you like...each time she breaks...something horrible happens like in revelation...each time she unlocks a Pandora's box... With a back story continuing on David does he have a soul...would he need to dream...would he need a conscious..does he believe in a higher power... Also all engineers can't be bad..their must be human sympathizers... so i'm hopping for a engineer hero..,or anti hero perhaps.,,

I like the sound of that an Engineer Anti-hero, with his own agenda! Not necessarily a human sympathizer, but an Engineer who isn't callous. Who is willing to hear what the two adventures have to say for themselves.

The xeon was described by ASH as a perfect organism...it should end up the god in the end.>>Keep in mind this was Ash speaking after malfunctioning, having been beat in the head, stabbed with an electrofied spear several times and being beheaded. This "perfect organism" was ultimately exterminated by a batch of hot lead.

i personally like the idea that the black goo may be the overall 'god' [list] it it does its own thing "moves in mysterious ways" [/list] [list] it creates life and moulds it (one basic definition of a god!, mortal or otherwise!) [/list] we expect a physically bigger entity but what about gazillions of tiny nanogods moving fluidly as one such a retreat in form from an earlier humanoid image being deliberately taken to counter being argued with and bugged by precocious earlier children of god(s) and or by the general hassle caused by mankind in many creation myths the first born creations werent humans and often questioned the logic of the main creator(s) one translation of Satan is "the questioner" fallen angels/ angry titans and or lesser gods tended to argue about the latest creation in their image i.e. humans and the gods were described as retreating to other realms or going dormant etc various ways of backing off from direct contact. Think of how the sumerian god went to sleep, how the celtic gods retreated to other realm as did the mayan/aztec (i think). well you cant argue with goo now can you so a more convenient form for a god that is into continuous re-creation no?
