the real alien vs predator

ok thats what makes the xenos so dangerous when engineers fight them unprepared we saw what happen in the holo scene of prometheus we saw what happend to the predators in the second movie they didnt expect the aliens on their ship any spezies who fights the aliens without tech without armor without weapons would loose the battle thats what they are made for even with tech and weapons its very hard to get away alive like seen in alien aliens the mariens without their tech and weapons it would not have been a 2hours 45 mins movie avp avp2 and prometheus bthe human crew and the engineers like always said the perfect organism

the directors said that it was a, "distant cousin" of the original sj in alien

Don't be ashamed. I liked the first AVP movie, the second was a horrible mess though.

What I found annoying was the way that the Alien was diminished in AVP! In one scene the Pred throws an Alien around after picking it up by the tail? The original Alien was much bigger & far more formidable. No way the Pred could have thrown it around like a ragdoll!!

@lone I agree totally. The way they charged the predator also was uncharacteristic. Compare with the xeno in alien, the ones portrayed in alien vs predator were dumbed down to say te least.

i think predators are easily strong enough to fight a xeno without weapons and what not, but the xenomorph would win 5 or 6 times pout of ten. the predators would probably be good at using their enviorment or just materials in their enviorment to fight and fight well.

Well, truthfully the Xenos were bred to kill without a need for any weapons other then themselves. Although the predator is quite close in relation to the strength of a Xeno, what the Predator makes up in that brute strength the Xeno makes up with it's speed, agility and stealth. The odds are highly unfavorable for an unarmed Predator. Even most believe that the whole AvP confrontation was just for show, if they took it into actual characteristics the outcome would usually be a Xeno taking the victory. And with the whole "Dangerous in numbers" would be an understatement, with all the factors involved, the Predator would be quite literally annihilated in mere moments. I love both, but to put the two in the same universe is utter genocide towards the Predators. :P

What i dont get in avp is they breed the xenomorphs for hunting, but in 'predators, they hunt humans, that is a poor downgrade. Hunting humans after hunting xenomorphs, would be like hunting a baby. I didnt think Avp was that bad, does what it says on the tin.. but i didnt like the predators new look in both films. When the mask comes off, looks more funny than anything. Predators was very poor i thought, ive heard avp2 is very poor too. Is it true in avp2 requiem, that you see an engineers skull on predator ship???

The predators in predators are a different clan and the hunt everything. They weren't rookies on a manhood ritual.

The entire AvP universe idea is boring and uninteresting. The films have been badly directed and acted. The plots that the films have had are amateur material. The films should have never made the big screen. They are strictly glorified Sci-Fi channel material.

I think a predator would still beat a xeno, even unarmed AND surprised. Xenos were meant to be terrifying to us, and the predators are so powerful and confident they even have the guts to take on a xeno-queen or giant deacon, or whatever. They almost live for combat, and hunting, no matter the odds. If one was literally at home watching TV when he suddenly saw a xeno in the house, he would recover from the surprise in minimal time and maybe even say "Bring it" or "Finally". They compliment the alien universe rather well considering what Prometheus added because if the engineers created human life, on many different worlds say, the predators as a co-existing, ancient society could have seen to the "battle-testing" of the creation. It is quite interesting, I think, in that both societies are playing gods and maybe the engineers even work for the predator civilization which could have conquered the galaxy long ago, for instance.

I would say the Temple suits the Xeno more.... The Predator would benefit from a more open space like a mountain range or a jungle etc... in a temple its tight with plenty of dark spaces and surfaces for the Xeno to take out the Predator. I think thats the point as the Temple suits a Xeno more and thus this poses a real task for the Predator a tough Hunt under circumstances and environment that better suits the Prey/Trophy. (Xeno)

Dont forget we see Xenos jump on backs of Humans in the movies and so the Xenos are not maybe heavy creatures. I think despite their size they may not weigh so much so as that this adds to their nimble nature. As far as a fight well bare handed i cant see the Predator fair well, the Xeno has a razor barbed tail, razor sharp claws and powerful jaws. The Predator may have Strength on their sides but without any weapons they would not penetrate or be able to cut the Xeno in pieces... But a Predator with his Claw Weapon or other Hand Weapon would be a match for a Xeno. But one large advantage for the Xeno is its Acid Blood defense mechanism.

@DenzelTH The Predators Hunt a various range of Organisms... Much like a Human Hunter may Hunt a Deer, a Rabbit, a Bird or a Bear etc. Its pretty obvious a Bear is more deadly than a Rabbit but that dont mean Hunters wont Hunt either. A Rabbit would be a harder target to hit than a Bear, a Bear would be more dangerous if you missed and one came close to you. And thus Xeno's are more deadly than Humans, but Humans are intelligent and resourceful and pose a completely different kind of hunt.

Haha well that was an interesting video! :D Anyways the Predators and Aliens have never actually ever won in any movie they've made (Out of the two) It's always both die. Fox is afraid to cause such a fanbase war by making one side win, and even then, they are to stupid to take notice of the books/comics. :/ Where the universe is actually portrayed and such.
