Alright so, for a while now i've been working on a film called Olympus which is pretty much a Alien/Prometheus spin off, now however the project shifted into a pure "Alien" fan film. I will however shelve Olympus and will return to it in the future.So yes the aliens will be present, but no marines and it wont just be about another "xeno encounter" like a lot of alien fan films today.but instead will explore further about the alien. That is awesome King! Looking forward to seeing the Space Jockey & finding out more about the Alien!!! Eventually we'll have 2 films to enjoy when you complete Olympus. NICE!!!!!!!!!

THe use of twelve Giants in a Pictogram is great. It idicates that the landing force was more than a one man show. Humans better learn to deal with the fact there are others in the universe..

the film will be done using green screen, the set pieces will be modeled in a 3d program and then edited in after effects

Alright guys, so its been a while since you've seen some progression pictures, here is something I've been working on lately. [url=http://i.imgur.com/A1oiDFk.jpg?1]Space Jockey chamber[/url] this is of course the famous space jockey chair room.the whole set was modeled, the circular stage still needs work and isn't complete as you can see. This was put into after effects and i added a picture of the chair and placed it into that set. Our actors will also be placed into the set via green screen.

i was playing around with some of the effects and decided to have ago at the famous holographic orrery. [url=http://i.imgur.com/0qLgUWi.png?4]Orrery Hologram[/url] I used green based on one of the concept art images done for the orrery, i know most here chose this scene as their favorite ;)

a second test for the hologram this time based on this concept art [img]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-K_QbrrggmBo/T_G8qZKTTKI/AAAAAAAABww/jDVZ5ugLN8w/s1600/prometheus-pilot-room-concept-art.jpg[/img] this is a second quick attempt at the orrery i made, the effects need more work of course. i mainly uploaded this video to test how things would look on youtube :P [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4nPOAkMsbg]Prometheus orrery test.[/url] i recently remembered to add the nebula with the star system, and it made the effect look 10x better, will upload pictures of that soon.

That's fantastic!!!

I love the new hologram look, I actually prefer it over the one seen in Prometheus! Please continue working on this project, and please PM me if you need help on editing a little trailer ;)
