i certainly hope that the deacon is NOT in the sequel to prometheus. i liked the fact that an alien-esque creature was featured in prometheus (as sort of a convoluted cousin to the traditional alien), but Im hoping that the sequel veers even further from the whole xeno-dynamic.

yeah me to and hopfully get some kind of tie mybe in the 3rd movie if there is gonna be 1

I don't miond then DEacon in the next installment of our prequel. Eventually there will be a link to Alien anyway. The connection from this moon to the wrecked ship discovered in Alien would be of interest and needs to be explored. Why not have some answers in P2?

some answers in the sequel would be nice, but its not necessary to introduce more xenos to provide those answers. Discovery and information can be the conduit to answers. imo, and this seems very clear to me, the connection between LV 223 and the derelict on LV 426 is the that the "derelict" on LV 426 was a ship that came from LV 223 during the time of the "outbreak" 2000 yrs prior to shaw and crew's arrival on LV 223. The "derelict" on LV 426 had been sitting there for approximately 2000 yrs by the time shaw and crew set down on LV 223. The details and chronology of the eggs on board the "derelict" juggernaut (LV 426) are still a mystery, but how and when the "derelict" juggernaut went down on LV 426 is no longer a mystery (imo). Details pertaining to the eggs/spores found in the "derelict" juggernaut can be touched upon in the sequel without having alien-esque critters running about. I think the deacon was in prometheus just as a final visual cue illustrating that the black goo ties into the xeno/alien. I think its clear that the "deacon" is NOT the first alien/xeno. Anyways...id like to see some of these questions subtly illuminated in the sequel, but i very much want to keep the xeno/alien presence to a minimum. I want to explore the engineers and their culture. i also want to explore the creator/createe dynamic by way of further examining the engineer's relationship with humanity. David will make the aforementioned even more interesting/multi-faceted (synthetic creation etc.) Man...im pumped for this sequel. i really hope that it gets made (and made correctly)!

Pretty sure we will see some xeno stuff and the deacon in the sequel grown up - partly because of the mural - it obvious the xenos lead back to something bigger - maybe even the god like being or the source of the black goo. We will probably see Yutani come into the story maybe they will go to the same planet following the weyland team and come across the deacon...but I know anything is possible!

@djamelameziane I sort of like your thinking that the next instalment could include new charactors not seen Prometherus or Alien. Something that is critical to Shaw/David survivial but not obvious to the Alien roles. There is something about that Mural and xeno that begs a quality storyline that will link Prometheus to the 3rd prequel. If you look in the lower right corner of the mural just up from the bottom , it looks like a Weyland logo.
