I have a pretty good idea of where it is. It's just down there, in the basement....

Except for an early scene in Star Trek I don't recall Beer being in SciFi movies..
I mean It would be a shame to go thru this Century exploring other worlds and not be able to enjoy a Foster's Oil Can.

Right now?
A Blu-Ray player.
Guess why.
I hate you, Marketing Department.
The whole point of this is lost if you keep it a secret.

Nice thread. Like the web links from Tankgirl.
not a tough one for Christmas...See my son....I haven't seen him since March when he went on deployment. He's a US Marine Infantryman...and a hellava lot more tougher than Colonial Marines! HA!
Today I have been dedicated to post on as many topics as possible until I pass out from drinking too many beers.

@Regular Parrot
Ir is good to have the family together for at least one more time. As kids grow they have their own lives to lead. Take each meetinbg a special opportunity.
What I have found is that no matter how old or independent your kids become they will always be kids in your eyes.
I did check out the first linkTank Girl posted and it was very cool, I let the additional ads run and seeiong tyhe nGiant Robot in combat reminded me mof the Pacific Rim movie coming out nest year,
Also the 3 ad feature robots all very nice to see.
I don't recall any of these ads so they were a jpy to watch.
Now were is the classic TV ads featuring the Flintstones selling cigarettes!!

No problem Tank Girl. I wouls want to offend anyone here,,,
I enjoyed the TV ads as they are sort of a forgotten part of our past.
Shows how much we are influenced by the visual medium.
Now if I can just understand the subliminal content of the commercial ads..
Hmm I am hungry for a Big Mac and Curly Fries.

As far as a Christmas Present I would enjoy a Weyland T-shirl/Hoodie would be just fine.
I didn't get one because there was no guarentee it would arrive by Dec 25.
Too bad because I would not have cared if it was a month late!
I guess I could use my own money but it is not the same.
Oh well, maybe next year..
