I am sorry to see this thread disappear. There has been some talk of the emotions influencing the goo. when using a host. If the bio-weapon goo can not only absorb/use the physical aspects of the host but also the emotionalattibutes as well that could lead to a quite varied offspring..even if the same race of host are utilized. i mention this as i am thinking of thwe closing scenes in our movie. The alien that Shaw delivered was quite adaptive and had great survial instinct judging by the way it reacted when seen by Shaw in the shutter. After dance with the Last Engineer a new life form was created which we call the Deacon. So a survivior mega Face hugger joins with a pissed off Engineer hell bent first on destroying earth(after throwing arond our crew members) and then wipe out Shaw. If there is any validity to the 'emotional' aspects of the parents affecting the goo off spring then the Deacon must be one hell of a child with bad attitude.
