GREAT analogy.
Weyland paraphrases Lex during the TED monlogue (Blu-Ray extra) to a good degree. Weyland also viewed himself as "god' as well as wanting "his cut": having "immotality" along with the power of TRILLIONS from advanced techonolgies that he, like Luthor says, can "give" to mortals as HE deems fit to dispense (and, ultimately control himself).

MemberOvomorphJan-12-2013 4:46 PMi was watching the remake of clash of the titans the other day (sam worthington.. yum!) anyhoo at one point this character queen cassiopea i think starts going on about how they dont need the gods etc and ends her speech by loudly proclaimimg "we are the gods now"....... i wonder if someone had been waatching it for the greek myth themes and caught that or wether its coincidence?
