Since the crew had no real clue what the planet looked like, what do you think they were expecting? Maybe no one really thought about it because they only wanted to know about the Engineers, but do you think that Shaw or Holloway had an opinion of what it would be like? For example, did Shaw think they were going to end up in Paradise?

They expected it to be Earth-like.

I knew they thought it would be Earth-like in realtion to the atmosphere but i just thought it would be interesting to know if the characters could have been thinking of how the planet would be. like i said in the original post, appearence, feel, or whatever. something more in depth
