Xenomorph to make an appearance in Prometheus 2?

Yes i think that it should be included and also put or reveal a little of intelligence just to make a goal on its character

IMO the xenomorph has its own story to tell. Prometheus is about a different race altogether, that being the Engineers. I would love to know how both met, but not at the expense of revealing the full origin of the xenomorph. That said, then yes I would like to see a xenomorph in Prometheus 2, but only as a minor sideline that gives just a tad more than a nod to the original Alien.

@ Necronom4, I take it that you are referring to seeing more of the origins of the life cycle of the Giger Alien, rather than the Cameron version of having a queen. If so, I would be more than happy for Prometheus 2 to go down the origins of that route.

Personally I would like to see one, but not as the center of the plot. We already have four monsters movies and for me, only the first one is the maximum exponent of canon. However we can not ignore the fact that Prometheus has disappointed many fans, and FOX knows that. That said, I think it's almost a promise and I'm pretty sure that we'll see something in the sequel. I enjoyed Prometheus, and my personal desire is that FOX continue expanding the new mythology, but obviously this is just a cold business.

I wouldn't mind seeing an origin xeno story too but like what others have said make it a side line. Its not about Aliens its about the Engineers and how they did crazy things to planets. It better not have only Aliens that would be so stupid. Those fans that were disappointed are the ones who wanted to see the over-done monsters. IMO

I conquer with the opinions above. I just want a side story or small guest appearence by the xeno

I got too passionate about it again. I dont know why I am such a Prometheus fan its like one of my absolute favorite movies.

@Batchpool. Yeah, I would like to see some type of reference to the origin of the Giger Alien and the origin of those eggs from the original ALIEN film. But it has to be subtle! They could easily show some short origin visuals through holograms. That would be Mint! However, I get the feeling that Camerons queen would be making a re-appearance, if they were to show the origins of Giger's Alien. In that case, I would not wish to see the back story! Don't we already know how a xenomorph is formed? Egg/facehugger/host... So, wouldn't we really be looking to find out how the eggs and facehugger come to be? That would be more interesting to me. At any rate, if a xeno is in the movie, I don't want to see the whole thing... just a glimpse of it as we all know what it looks like. Besides, I'm kind of with Ridley Scott on this that it is played out.

i dont.... We have seen the Xeno too many times, and whats to really see.... the only thing we have not seen is how they came to be and any Xeno Vs Engineer scenes.... I would like to see them appear in the movie maybe as Mural or as Flash back scene but thats about it and dont think it would be wise to have a movie where the Xeno takes centre stage. Look at Shaws Dream Scene with her Dad... the Full Sacreficial Scene, (well deleted one) and the Engineer Hologram Scenes. I would not mind if the Xeno are shown in such flash backs but only for short periods.... Unless they are doing either... 1) Prometheus Part 3 or 2) Paradise is spread into a 2 Part movie like the Last Harry Potter and that a 2 part Paradise is set to finish the franchise and each par is at least 2 hours long. I just think if Shaw find a Paradise that then we see infested with Xenos or at some point some get released would be far too much. And we have only scratched the surface of the Engineer Race, and i worry we really see much of them but we will see their creators and they end up being like Xenos.... no thank you... We need a movie that shows Flash Backs like the beginging of Prometheus a few scenes as such that show the Engineers, maybe shows there interactions with Ancient Mankind.... would be better. Then a few flash backs as in either a Elder transmitting visions to Shaw to share with her the Engineers role and purpose etc like how David accessed Shaws dreams. Or maybe the Engineers are gone, but she finds a computer recording system like the Hologram play back that David activated and then finds lots of artifacts and murals and translated by David to then paint us a Picture of... 1) Who are these Engineers. 2) Where did they come from and how they came to be. 3) What is there Agenda and why was we created. 4) What became of the Engineers and Elders. 5) Why did they stop interaction with us and want us killed off. These 5 are more important than purely to find out about Xenos.... i mean we was left not having barely nothing known about the Space Jockey and Prometheus plan was to show us who that guy was, well what race they are. And they have barely scratched the surface... Yes Question 5 would have to include LV 223 and its purpose and by showing us why, and when would also give us more clues to the Xeno.

I want to see a Xenomorph in the sequel. I think there will be a epic fight between an engineer and a Xenomorph and the creature which is on the murals. But the creatures are all more powerfull because it's their territory. Maybe there is higher phase of the Xenomorph (not the queen). The origins shouldn't be revealed.

I think they may still reuse some unused concepts and plot from Star Beast.... Star Beast was the Original Alien Draft... A Sumary of the plot is this..... like Alien a Human Ship finds a Alien Signal a SOS so they thought and go to investigate. They land to find a abandoned ship, well the Alien Space Jockey Ship, they go and find skeletal remains of the Pilot with hole in its chest like the Space Jockey. The difference being that the Ship did not have Eggs, well not as in Alien, the Human Crew found near by a Pyramid and when they went to explore it it contains Leathery Urns and had Murals. Basically Star Beast plot was that the Alien Ship had landed there and had found these Urns in the Temple and was in the Process of carrying them back to their ship to study but then they got infected. They wanted to explore that idea in Alien but due to budgets they could not have shot a Pyramid Scene and the Derelict so they had the Eggs being placed under the Ship in which we latter assume is the Ships Cargo Hold, which latter evolved to be known and shown as a Large Cargo Hold. What i am saying is the Original Star Beast showed us that the Alien Race who had first been infected by the Alien in the Eggs/Urns and was a tall race who FOUND..... the Xeno and never CREATED them. Prometheus borrowed idea from Star Beast about Urns, and Temple and Murals and also how Shaws Baby was when born how the Star Beast Face Huger looked, and when Cuddes was grown up i look liked like the Mural from Star Beast.................... The one main idea from Star Beast not covered is the connection to the Space Jockey Race and how it obtained the Xeno, in which Star Beast shows they found it in a Temple. I think they would use this in Paradise, and that the Xeno or indeed a Organism or something that gave rise to the Xeno, and ultimately the Stuff in the Urns in Prometheus was something the Engineers had came across and never created from scratch. I do think we will see Engineers or Elders and we will see that they either got nearly all taken out by a Xeno or Xeno related Organism, or at very least they become victim to a new kind of Xeno unleashed by David or Shaw at the End of Paradise or at least last 3rd of the movie.

Seeing a plantation with leathery urn trees would be enough reference for me. I don't think it is necessary to go full blown xeno to give an idea of origins.

'The Morb' has certainly been done to death, but not by Ridley Scott & perhaps that's the problem? Just sayin! Prometheus was all about origins, as such we were shown the origins of what may well have become the classic Alien Morb further down the line. The sequel might contain adult deacon/s, but any Alien related lifeforms will probably only be used for evolutionary purposes. Having said that I would have no problem with our classic Alien lifeform being incorporated into the story, as Ridley would probably only include it in the context of explaining it's relationship to the Engineer race & us.

I think FOX will pretty much demand that Scott provide more context as far as the xeno is concerned otherwise they are going to lose that audience. Expectations are going to be more tempered now so they could use that to their advantage and really use the element of surprise. I mean no one is going to forget the fact that this new mythology takes place in the [i]Alien Universe[/i] thus it MUST still maintain a thread or two even if they are venturing ever further into the Engineers' culture and origins. They can do it without beating us over the head with it; show us an urn completely changed or changing into an egg and that would be enough, but you know, I would just LOVE to see the CLASSIC Giger xeno rear its head up in some penultimate scene that takes everyone off guard; make it slow, creepy and the deaths cold and for the most part unseen. I think they could do it but it has to be just right and cathartic for the xeno fans that have no hope to see it again, I think the old boy deserves one last triumphant send off.

Handled well, a flashback to the first Morb or their first encounter with a Morb would be very cool. I doubt though that it would be a classic configuration, as that one seems to be influenced by human DNA. It's Ridleys baby, he can go any way he wants with it, but I'd love to see some sort of habitat, maybe not the storm swept landscapes we're accustomed too, maybe some glittering terrain with abominable heat and startling clarity, a demonic vacuum land. Some place even the Engineers are ill equipped to survive. Maybe the Goo is manufactured by this thing they find, and seeing its gruesome effects inspire them to capture it. The first massacre. Many to follow.
