Alien: Earth and Alien: Romulus sequel news

Dr Who got facehugged.

I don’t recall anyone up to now mentioning the new role John Hurt has landed as Dr Who. I think that this opens the door to Dr Who / Alien / Prometheus crossover discussions. I bet there are those out there who are now cringing at the very idea. Now then, to get the ball rolling. If Kane was really Dr Who, could that be used to explain any of the mysteries that link Prometheus to Alien. Given that the execs at Fox are known to join elements of franchises together, can anyone really rule out the prospects of the Engineers home planet being run by Daleks and some Predators turn up to kick some ass. OK, enough of the stupidity. But on a serious note, I’m surprised not much has been discussed on here yet over this new role John Hurt has landed himself. By the way, and more importantly, which discussion group does something like this get filed under ?

File it under 'I' for irrelevant. All i can think of to say is ' I don't even know what to say.'

I know John Hurt has been in quite a few sci fi films, but I tend to always associate him with Kane, just like many people may associate Leonard Nimoy with Spock. I just know that every time I watch Dr Who from now on I’m going to be on the look out for a face hugger in the background. I do agree that any direct association to Prometheus is irrelevant, but I would be curious to see how many times Alien gets quoted by the media whenever John Hurt or Dr Who gets mentioned.

LOL Batch- I think it's great that John Hurt will be appearing as one of The Doctor's. He's always been one of my favourite actors & is certainly one of the greatest we have, with an amazing diversity of roles! I'd like to see him in one of the Prometheus sequels, perhaps as an Elder?

John Hurt as the time lord? Never really took to Dr Who, but I like this joke: Q: How does a Dalek keep its skin soft? A: Exfoliate! Exfoliate!

The poster was good though!

@Necronom 4; Yes it is. In Canada it was always broadcast on regular TV networks, the reboot/new series was even produced with Canadian help. In USA it's broadcast on PBS. Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary Special Trailer

And the 2005's ones, are also broadcasted in latinamerica, but it was little bit behind of the last season, I had to take netflix to catch up with it. the Old one was more popular than the new one here at my country. but you can find people still interested on follow the show, and young people who likes the 2005 reboot. Doctor who and Alien together would make great stories but dr who is for kids and alien is for adults it will never happen. But Daleks creating engineers shows them who is their god. DALEKS ARE SUPREME http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFQSZ43oeQk
