Ancient Engineer Gods on Paradise in Prometheus 2?

There had better be some answers. Film-makers fail to comprehend the fact that people want answers. For some reason, they think we want more questions. No! Bad screenwriters! Go to your room!

God, that's beautiful! I truly hope to see something along those lines. Agreed that Paradise has already or will be devastated by Xeno-type creatures. Perhaps even by the goo Shaw and David may or may not be carrying. (Would kill to see a few original Xenos, maybe a mature Deacon.) That piece is f***ing brilliant! Thanks for sharing!

Now thats what I am talking about huge statues, giant temples, pyramids and yes xeno statues that are so strange and weird. Thats Paradise btw I am glad that matrix garbage isn't popping up any time soon get rid of it, not original just old. I have read somewhere that some Alien dorks think that this franchise isnt original....Yeah right!

Poseidon or Enki would work as maybe a father of mankind and other worlds because of water is needed for life.

Back to topic Yes!!! I want a very Gigeresque looking God figure, Something more powerful and frightening than the Engineers. But even if that does not happen I will not feel disappointed, because without doubt Ridley Scott has a very good eye to choose the designs.

@Chris I’d love to see the engineer’s homeworld being overrun by xenomorphs; that Shaw and David arrive in a devastated no man’s land and that it has lots of references and clues about the series written all over it. Btw, good job on the Godzilla-forum. Ånnunaki50 Matrix garbage? That film had some of the most original storylines ever so I don’t think it’s qualified as a heap of dung. But I DO agree that it wouldn’t fit in this universe. Alien dorks…no comment. Without the alien-fanbase there wouldn’t be a Prometheus-movie. Prometheus isn’t original. What is so special about this movie that we haven’t already seen in others?

In a recent press conference for Ridley's upcoming film The Counselor, Ridley was asked on the status of Prometheus 2, he said "...we're writing Prometheus right now, Prometheus 2." So repeating what Noomi said a while back but it's from Ridley's mouth at least.

I think Paradise will be quite similar to earth, but possibly a little post apocalyptic. I think it would be cool if there were monuments and various structures that give a nod to possible earth influences such as a ‘Xeno of Liberty’ or a ‘Leaning Tower of Deacon’.

Chris Most definitely a hierachy and definitely a very powerful god liike being will be aware of happenings on the planet. But wil it reveal itself to david and shaw and for what reason ? If paradise is now hell then maybe this entity maybe like q in star trek could possibly assist shaw and david purely out " because I can and I want to show my power" Main thing; what will be the motivation of this entity becaise this will decide what the hierarchy looks like .

Hey Anu, I can't speak for Necronom4, but I think it shows some class to come back and acknowledge when you may be 'out of line.' It is your conscience which sets you apart from the pack there. @Necronom- i hope you know we love ya man!! I make a debate out of anything and everything; my wife hates it. I need to remember that not everyone enjoys 'getting it on' like this. I too love this movie a scary amount and may have been guilty of stepping on some toes in the past. Please realize this is a lack of tact on my part, and not a commentary on the validity of your points. (I just really love to debate!!) I definitely enjoy your threads man- whether or not i agree is irrelevant. I think we are all just jonesing for some news.

Glad you like it. :) As for the topic, I think seeing an Engineer homeworld overrun by Xenomorphs would be incredible, but I expect if we can gauge the sequel to be anything like the first, then I'd say [i]Paradise[/i] will be a forgotten wasteland - leaving being monuments and records of the Engineer's existence there. When I saw this piece of artwork, I immediately thought of an ancient monument... that and the Alien Queen's head crest. I think Shaw and David (if they make it to "Paradise") will encounter a barren world, once a "Paradise", sure, until the Xenomorph infestation broke loose - forcing the Engineers to re-locate. Either that or they discover that indeed the Xenomorphs were on the same level as their "Gods", and like Biblical scripture describes the war between Heaven and Hell, the same fate fell upon the Engineer races and the Xenomorphs. Don't want to get too ahead of myself, since my imagination can run wild, and it's far too late to be doing so, hahaha. @Anunnaki50 - I appreciate you acknowledging your actions, but perhaps in the future, read over your post prior to hitting the "ADD REPLY" button, and think if what you're posting could be interpreted as offensive or not. I dont own any smartphone (I have a dumbphone) so I sit in front of my PC its all I got for now. I really dont want to hurt anyone because otherwise I couldnt talk about this awesome movie and all the people I know hate talking about it so this place is my escape.
