During the 3D scanned image of the Juggernaut as the crew passes through the ship it is evident that the storage for the canisters is in the arms of the ship and that the center is the operations...The derelict in Alien, something dug it's way down underneath the ship and we get a huge cavern complex built for holding those eggs, not originally part of the derelict? It could fit with Prometheus if their ships can nano build to fractal expansion or even dimensionally be expanded like a portal. Perhaps these engineers have been sacrificed like the guy in the beginning of the film but in this case it's a booby trap that has a darker reasoning. The giant head statue being in honor of the guy who gets beheaded by the door. The wall with the greeen crystal in front of it is a sealed wall to another passageway, perhaps one that goes directly to a juggernaut. That green crystal probably shoots a laser that helps create a foreshadowing of the facehugger birthed from the crusified deacon that made love to the Cosmic vagina

@Anunnaki; Yes it does. Now, i'm not convinced that he is an engineer, as he looks too small conpaired to the eggs. So who is he?

Ah..I think it is supposed to be Holloway. Remember in Spaihts script he falls into the egg silo and gets hugged.

The only connection i make with that Image and Spaights Script is that it may be the scene where David infects Shaw with a Face Huger and leaves her there after she is unconscious and Face Hugged. You see where Holloway got infected the Organism that got to him was on the ceilings in like honey comb structure. Not from Eggs on the floor. You also note there is a crew member alone on the one walk way walking away from the Chamber. This must be David. But looking at the face of the body on the Egg chamber floor it looks Engineer, but then the size of the body is much smaller, indeed about the same as the Human Crew Member in the back ground which for the body to appear same size in foreground means must be smaller than 6ft.

Also i dont think we need to do a movie about the Space Jockey, you see from Alien here is what we got... 1) A Horseshoe Space Craft, Crash Landed, with a Dead Skeletal looking remains of its Pilot with a hole in his chest area. They spot a burnt hole in the floor next to the chair, one member of the crew gets down to the lower chamber and we see a Cargo Hold of Eggs. From Alien to Aliens etc we find out what these Eggs contain, and so we can assume one of these Face Hugers got to the Pilot at some stage. It would appear that this would have occurred at some point during flight. And the Pilot let of a Warning SOS. PROMETHEUS Shows us same kind of Ship and confirms they are used as Bio Warfare Cargo Ships. We are shown the Space Jockey could be a Engineer in a Bio Mechanical Space Suit (yes there is size difference). But the drafts had them to be same size as Space Jockey from Alien. These clues then add to Alien that indeed the Space Jockey may had at some point got Face Hugged while he had his Mask off Maybe? Maybe most likely when he inspected the Cargo Hold after a containment warning went off, or he could have been wondering around unaware that one of the Cargo had got lose. This scene or similar is the only thing that could be added to explain what happened, by the actual events but its not enough to base a movie on... Ridley has also explained off film what happened and that indeed the Space Jockey/Derelict and Engineers/Juggernaught are all related to each other. The Space Jockey was a Space Suit, and the Derelict was transporting a Cargo of Eggs, when the Cargo had got compremised and one of them got to the Space Jockey.. Knowing his Cargo and himself had been compromised and knowing his fate, the Space Jockey set course for the nearest baron moon he could Quarantine the Cargo.... but during the final stages of this the ship Crash Landed, maybe either during being Chest Busted or just as this was about to happen.... At some point a SOS Warning was set off, be that automated, or set by the pilot before or just after the crash. So we know what happened, only thing we could add is show the Derelict being loaded with its Cargo or show how it got onto the Derelict. Show the Space Jockey get face hugged i.e where was he and how did it happen, show him then get back into his seat and set a course to LV 426 and activate the SOS... Then show the Crash and finally the Chest Buster Scene. But is that necessary, does it show us what we do not all ready know?

Yes I and many other members on here already know that BigDave. What we don't know is the SJ's story. HIS story. And what is the origin of those eggs? Wouldn't you like to know?

Well thats what i am trying to say.... That Particular Space Jockey, maybe we will never be shown.... But as far as his Race Goes well thats what Prometheus was trying to do. The drafts had the Engineers as almost twice the size we actually got to see them as and this was a MAJOR Disappointment. Do i want to see Ridleys explanation as to why the Space Jockey was much taller, and by that i dont mean that Space Jockey but that is there another fraction of beings who are 12-15ft tall.... Yes! Would i like to see where the Eggs come from, well i want to see more clues but still keep some Ambiguity well maybe not so much, but not a spoon feed Xeno fest like Spaights draft was. For me the Mystery of who these Engineers are, there connection to LV 426 Space Jockey and who created them is the bigger question. It would be nice to maybe find out some clues as to how come another ship was carrying Eggs and not Urns and where those Eggs was coming from or going to, yes that would be interesting. It could be simply answered by David translating some information, or indeed being told by some being they found, that the Engineers or Fraction of them had a Bio Weapon that was hard to contain and control and that they had tried to re-weaponize the Organism for safer storage and more uses, by using the Creation Tool (Sacrificial Goo) to perform this..... but ultimately messing with the Bio Weapon in any way proved a risky undertaking and one that saw off those Engineers. A explanation like that would explain things a bit and keep some ambiguity.

So we know what happened, only thing we could add is show the Derelict being loaded with its Cargo or show how it got onto the Derelict. Questions: Did one of the SJ set the facehugger loose, was he betrayed by his own kind? Didn't they have an antidote or med-pod? Why didn't he set course to his home-planet and went to hypersleep so they could rescue him? Where was he heading? How come he's fused with the chair? What did the thing look like that bursted out of him? Did he or didn't he know he was about to get chestbursted? I ask this because he sent out an SOS/warning. etc.

Was he a bounty hunter/ mercenary/ scientist/ rogue? How come he couldn't overpower a tiny facehugger? Did he commit suicide? You see, we're in the f*cking dark on all this..

Well thats where some Ambiguity comes in.... I think we need to be given more clues to how the Eggs came about for sure. And also maybe shown a larger race of Engineers or other creation by them that is 12-15ft tall. Just knowing these and showing us more, would give us enough to fill the gaps in from Alien. We can be pretty sure he was infected by a traditional Face Huger and thus would have given birth to a Xeno but a larger one... Yes on screen we have not been shown, only what Ridley has said so if we ignore Ridley and go by what we are shown then yes, we do not know for sure if the Eggs was on the Ship, if they evolved from something or they was laid by what ever came out of the Engineer. I dont want answers in next two movies well not spoon fed...,. I would like a Alien 5 to give us more, you know say a movie called Alien Origins.... or Alien Alpha! Use this to explain the history of the Xeno and then how the Engineers are connected.

@BigDave; I agree with what you said regarding not actually showing it but instead giving us clues. I think that actually filming his story would cheapen his story and make us think, 'OH..That's what happened to him and THAT'S how the facehuggers came to be, but now I've been SHOWN what happened, I've realised that I would have much preferred it if I was just given clues or read about it rather than actually visualised it.' Do you know what I mean? What makes it such a great mystery is the fact that we haven't SEEN it! However, I still really wanna know!!! I wanna be given clear clues as to what happened. OR, Ridley should work with a good author and write a story about him. :)

Well i did think that at the end of Prometheus they could have shown us a flash back scene of the Space Jockey just to please the fanboys and put it to bed. But then looking at that if we had this at the end of the movie we have to ask why show a flash back from the past at the end of the movie, and if it was during the movie before the Engineer Pilot seat scene then again it would kind of take the center stage off the Engineer/Pilot Chair scene and if at the end likewise the Deacon scene. We could at some point be shown the Derelict scene as a flash back at some point in the franchise... a lot could depend if the Engineers or Elders etc on Paradise knew about the Space Jockey Mission and LV 223 and be that we see interaction from a Engineer/Elder or they have documented the incident on Paradise and David Translates it. Or he could when he discovers some Engineer/Elder temples or craft etc on Paradise he could activate a log and then translate it to Shaw and indicate that the Home World had a message sent to them from LV 223 some 2200 years ago where they stated that another Cargo Vessel had become Compromised during its mission, the Organism is proving to dangerous a Weapon and they was given orders to commence going back to the drawing board and attempt to figure a way to safer deploy and re-weaponize the Bio Weapon. David coming across some message log like this and translating it for Shaw would give us clues that these Engineers was working on developing a newer improved safer Bio Weapon after a number of failures with a previous one... or something similar. A scene like this would give us more clues to what went down on LV 426. And we do not need to be spoon fed or shown a scene. But i would like to see a scene as flash backs of some taller Engineer Space Jockeys maybe interacting with some Bio Weapon connection to the Xeno...

only a TOTAL REBOOT of Prometheus will satisfy 'this' viewer ... a direct PREQUEL that explains the weird and surreal world of the elephantine SJ and his eggy cargo, and why he's soft-landed on LV423. No xeno Queen, no hive shrieking, just a lone acid-blooded seductor like the original. I wanna see how Xeno and SJ works, maybe they're immune and mankind was deposited on Earth. Maybe the Adam/Eve moment happened on Earth BECAUSE LV423 happened. Maybe... you know? Just not what Lindelof camped up with. Prometheus, while good in its own Stargate/VonDanekan-derivative fashion, was okay but IT WASN'T AN ALIEN PREQUEL (as Scott promised early on).

I feel your frustration @Custodian! I do honestly! I think you, like myself, MISS the otherworldly, alien surrealism and untouchability that ALIEN gave us. That feeling of us coming across something real but a complete enigma that could NEVER be explained in a conventional way. A scary look at what a distant, ancient alien might look like if we actually came across it in real life. Therefore, SHOWING his story, on FILM, would lessen his story IMO. His (the SJ's) story should NEVER be produced by a bunch of cowboys like FOX!!! NEVER! We need to know, yes! But not on the big screen by some big profit, money making film company. I want to read about him in novel format, therefore I can use my imagination to visualise it, which, will be more powerful! :)

"Prometheus, while good in its own Stargate/VonDanekan-derivative fashion, was okay but IT WASN'T AN ALIEN PREQUEL (as Scott promised early on)" Well that was the plan, with Spaights draft, this one seems to indicate or hint that the SJ was the Sleeper Engineer who crashed on LV 426 and gave birth to the Ultramorph that hunted down Shaw but she saw it off with a saw.... The idea behind this movie was to show us that the SJ was a Engineer and they had created life on Earth but they also used to experiment and breed/store various variants of the Xeno Life Form. Had this movie gone ahead it would have linked with Alien, but would have been more of a Alien Resurrection type movie. And there would have been some plot holes as far as Alien goes.... and especially Aliens and by that i mean that after Spaights draft there would have been plenty of clues and stuff left over on LV 426 for the company to find and so why did they seem so in the dark in Alien and Aliens. Nope Ridley changed with Lindeloff and Fox the Xeno elements to concentrate more on the mystery of the Engineer/Space Jockey. We have seen the Xeno done to death, not only on film but in games etc, yes they could shown us variations of Xenos like Spaights draft suggested there are 8 varieties of Organism. But would they be vastly different? Where as apart from a few comics we did not know about the Space Jockey and Ridley and co with Spaights idea gave us the idea that they are Humanoid and they created mankind... This is a big plot choice and one that has a fantastic potential.

Good god has everyone vanished? There's tumbleweeds rolling past my screen. @BigDave; Prometheus was a story about the SJ's kind, the engineers and that's great! But I want to know HIS (the SJ's) story! I think that that's one of the main reasons a lot of ALIEN fans were disappointed with Prometheus. :)

The Prometheus art book also states that Ridley used Zecharia Sitchins 12 Planet idea too. I think it was a happy coincidence that the giant beings from Sumerian stories go with the Space Jockey storyline in Prometheus. The cuneiform alien writing further seals that idea. The irony of Stargate is that its borrowed from Z. Sitchins own theories and the Egyptian myths were the main theme of the movie instead.

Anunnaki- yep. You're not going to like this, but I maintain it was part of an intergalactic double cross perpetrated by the Engineers upon their masters... The Space Jockeys. D:

I know a lot of people would have liked to had seen that SJ story but by that what kind of story would that be? If it was explored, we would just find out the SJ was like the Engineers a Humanoid in a Space Suit but they would have to maybe explain the height difference and taking into account he grew out of his chair, which could happen when the SJ suits die... they would still need to explain some difference as surely when he was living he would still had to have been 12ft. So we would see some Humanoid, like a Engineer maybe see him given orders, find out where he set off from and where he was going too and maybe we see how the Eggs got loaded onto the Derelict. Then we see him suit up in a Pilot Chair sequence. Then we are shown the exact moment of when and how he got infected with a Face Huger, and then after that we would see him panic and know he is infected and then see him have to set a course to a baron world to Quarantine the Deadly Cargo and send a SOS to Warn his other kind that the Cargo is compromised. We then see him head to LV 426 and i recon as he enters the moons atmosphere he then gets the convulsions as he is about to be Chest Busted now this would occur either during the landing or just as he is about to set down the Derelict. But would this be worth a whole movie? and Ridley has said what happened and its pretty much as above, and even in Alien we had enough clues to suggest the above. Thats why i dont think we would see the SJ and Derelict from Alien before its ill fated mission.... Ridley could show us who the Space Jockeys are which he has done, but i feel he would have to show us that some Engineers or other Humanoid creations are similar but taller i.e 12-15ft They could show us how they came into contact with the Eggs.... i.e 1) Was they created from scratch? 2) Was they created from the Goo and Urns? 3) Was they the result of experiments on other Organism? 4) Was they found on another World and used or experimented on? 5) Or is there some Being/Creature/Biological Machine that made them? I think one of those five has to be the explanation and we will find out, and if so it may be a bit vague and not spoon fed.

@BigDave; The most frustrating thing about all this is the fact that, even if all the mysteries from Prometheus are addressed in the sequel, my feeling is that we will all still be on this site in 10 years time, debating and pondering over the SJ and cargo of eggs from ALIEN. I'm just really sceptical that Ridley will address it.
