Engineer tombs and burial

To house long dead Elders or early figures of their history or culture like we have done in our past til now? I am picturing a huge tomb chamber inside a pyramid with a large stone mortuary complex. Inside the tomb chamber would be very large sarcophagus'. What do you guys think?
