After I watched this, I thought about whats going on with idea of several Davids in the sequel. You can just use them in the film, if the company (Weyland Industries) plays an important role. It might be possible if the leaders of it will go on with the search of Prometheus (ship). So they find Shaw's recorded message on LV-223. By using several Davids, there is no profit for the xenomorphs or other species if they use David as a host. Perhaps the company leaders let create bio-weapons and equip their David androids. Because Shaw left a message behind, Weyland Industries knows where they are going and could follow David and Shaw...
