I have recently played and finished Alien Isolation on the Xbox360 and must say that I thoroughly enjoyed it on so many levels. It hits the nail right on the head and drives the nail right into and through the board.

I thought the ending was very intersting. Amanda Ripley shoots herself out into space to evade the clutching claws of the xeno. She clearly had no choice. What happens to her? We are to assume she lives based on the information provided in ALiens. She died at the age of 66. Maybe that was a cover up by Weyland/Yutani. We see light cast upon her space suit as she is flung away from the ship. Could that be another ship sent by the company? I think that she will in no doubt be rescued and quite soon for that matter so that we may have a sequel. At least that's what I am hoping for. The movie obvioulsy leaves us to ponder and speculate. I want to know what you guys and gals think. Any other easter eggs that you enjoyed through out the game?. Overall thoughts on the game?
I reallly enjoyed going into our beloved Derelict and seeing our fossilized Engineer. It was aslo quite awesome the first time I got face-hugged. I gave it a 10/10

MemberFacehuggerNov-03-2014 3:32 PMI dont know the ending was a big let down for me I thought the game was great till about half way through then it just seemed to run out of steam. All the ideas were taken from alien they added pretty much nothing it just seemed like regurgitated scenarios a crew member thats actually an andriod. Aliens flushing them out through airlocks etc. etc. . I was really hoping for a touch of something new :( . Anyway it did look great the lighting and graphics on my PC were mind blowing at times. But just yet again like so many games the story was flat. I kept checking the computers for one for some nice inof but it just seemed to be the same old crap over and over...warnings of alien like activity people stabbing each other in the back the company wants the alien alive same old same old. I wold give it a 7 out of 10 with a good ending / and or something new it could of been a 9 for me. Maybe an apperance of an engineer or something we have never seen even...illl have to try the extra mission next with the original crew...looks fun!

But i did worry about how deep can a game based on One Humans attempts to Survive a lone Alien would be...
My pont bieng if they instead made a Alien the Game, were you started with all the crew and had to complete certain missions to survive basically like they was trying to do in the movie. This would give more depth.... the idea of Alien Isolation thus is like them making a Alien the Game based on you being just Ripley and then from the point after Dallas Death you had to try and do everything Ripley had to do in the movie....
Where as off course Aliens as far as making a Game based off that Movie, would open up more potential for a game.

MemberChestbursterSep-24-2015 6:41 PMHey this is an older post, but I just got isolation on Xbox one after beating on 360 before so my mind is running wild with alien thoughts!!
But I only came here for one reason. In the beginning of the game when you enter the large area where you end up firrt merrting axyl, I found an easter egg (I'm probably not the only one of course.)! But once you enter that area and you take the first door that can open on the right, you can hear Jonesey!!! It is veeeery faint and the end sounds like a very distressed meow (made me sad haha), but it's there! A wonderful Easter egg!
