questions about the aftermath of project prometheus

Both are possible...

David did study the effects, he did also sugest this when he said to Shaw "the Engineers was in the process of leaving before things went to pot," Shaw asked "where to?" David said "Earth" and she then said "why?" and he responded "sometimes to create one must first destroy"

Now with a IQ of 350 and some knowledge on how to grasp their language did he read and uncover clues along the way in the Temple?  Or did his higher IQ lead to better intuition?

If so he may have had time to compile some information and send it back to Weyland via a message or even some other way...

But also a follow up mission could find out this information, which maybe could be a reason for doing a LV 223 plot in Prometheus 2 as rumoured... features more Davids.

The file itself has so many holes to what we saw in Prometheus... but by seeing the effects of the Goo David is bringing with him to Paradise, and also potential other effects encountered by a 2nd mission to LV 223.

In both cases they could show us effects that are tailored to fit those findings in the Weyland Document.
