Xeno vs Xeno

MemberTrilobiteJanuary 16, 20173538 Views29 RepliesI have read bits here and there that we might see xeno vs xeno in AC. I worry that could get sort of comic bookish or like AVP.
Anyone want to see that? Why?
It would be fine for a good reason. I wouldn't be interested if it was something fanboyish or just for action's sake.
It would be interesting(sort of reminds of velociraptors in the Lost World).Resurrection did it in a way but that was two alphas taking out the runt to escape.

It just sounded weaker, also it didn't seem to put up much of a fight.Granted it was two against one, but i think they knew it was weak.

I don't think the Alien in Rez was a "runt" it was just the poor sap who drew the short straw. They communicated between themselves before the one volunteered to die.
As per the OP, I have also heard this rumor and am prepping a more in-depth look at it or argument's sake. But the rumor is that a fully grown Neomorph takes on the Protomorph near the end of the film. They are different "species" so would make sense that they would compete for hive space, hosts, etc... If true, what an epic fight that will be.

I disagree it seemed suprised and even seemed to protest a bit before they tore into it.

Try the goodbye doctor scene on YouTube to see what i mean(I tried posting it here but it wasn't working)

I think ninXeno426 is correct. It appears that two Xenos look at the other and attack it. Never noticed that before.

Thanks for posting the clip dk.

Nah, it just drew the short straw like Chris said. One of them had to die for the good of the others. It kept its hands behind its back and didn't try to stop them when they attacked.
And i still disagree lol.

Shortest straw- not incorrect but semantics really. The two turn and face the one. They both have deep growls while the other has a high pitched whiny voice as if it is protesting but knows it is no match against the other two. They corner it (I saw no hands behind its back). It still whined as they attacked. It had no big effect on the overall movie but it was a pretty detailed scene.
It wasn't cornered. The three of them barely move form where they're standing.
You need to dial the brightness up to see the hands behind the back, such was Darius Khondji's love of black.
Ultimately doesn't make much difference though.
That's exactly what i was pointing out. Thanks for the more in depth break down of the scene dk.S.M. I meant no offense,my apologies if it seemed that way.

I remembered that these were basically bastardized mutant Xenos. The weak one appeared to not have any arms at all and it looked like it had either no inner mouth or a slow one- during the time the other two seemed to be challenging it. Regardless of points of view, this scene is pretty fascinating and there is a lot to see (if one wants to).
from what I took from the scene with the 3 xenos in rez, theres no way that 1 volunteered. it even seems the other 2 r even laughing while theyr butchering it. its probably just been one of those circumstances where the 2 killers r both at the glass and turn around and have the same idea, the other xeno may not have been weaker, just outnumbered but to me, there is no suggestion that it volunteered
