David's Body....

nothing there

my post disappeared somehow....But I was asking how people thought that David got a body for his head (sounds funny).  Did they go back for his body?

Shaw rappels David's body down the side of the Juggernaught while talking to his head. She places his head in the duffle bag and then rappels down herself.

I think the impression we r going to be given is in exchange for david helping to fly the juggernaut shaw reattaches his head. shaw probably doesn't have the knowledge to do it but im guessing david talks her through the process

My thought is that he is re-assembled after the crash on Paradise by the Engineers who are curious as to what he is.

Shaw probably reattaches his head en route to Paradise. His body did make it to the next ship you see Shaw lower it off the crashed juggernaut. Which is impressive for someone who had a C-section hours earlier.

I do think they do it, and he maybe unintentionally infects them, or helps them with their experiments and the Engineers find him useful because of what he knows.

@Myrddin365, Shaw is training for the post-C-section Olympic Triathalon...running from a Juggernaught, lifting/lowering a synthetic body, and wrestling away from an Engineer.

Oh thats right!  I completely forgot about that.  Now I remember that scene.  Need to see it again I guess

You forgot both Snookums the Engineer and Squidward were both on top of her and she was able to squirm away from the love fest.

Yah, I did not recall that Shaw took the body AS well as the head in her duffel the first couple times I saw the movie. I don't know how I missed that important fact!

Shaw recovered his body and head.. and left the Juggernaught with both.... its likely she puts his head on i would assume prior to leaving LV-223

Which could leave it open for the Deacon to get onboard... if we ignore how the Chest Buster Scene was set after it showed them departing.

I would assume David was fixed to some degree to get them off LV-223 before the Deacon Chest Busted and then during flight she puts David back together in a better way
