If you were in a bad situation and an android told you "Trust me, I will help you", which from the franchise (movies) would you trust?

I would pick Call.

How about you?

Another one would be Elden from Prometheus:Fire and Stone.Just don't inject him with black goo.Or Alien Isolation's Samuels.

Don't forget that Call could command the Aliens to specific locations- namely, away from yours.

Bishop gets my vote. Call was too "Human", very emotional. Not the quality I would look for in an android companion. Bishop remained calm, but sympathetic. He also could entertain me with the knife trick. Nuff said.

Perhaps the human quality makes her more trustworthy.

if we r talking solely alien universe, NOT A DAM 1. I think this is reason that in the AR timeline the symthetics have been pretty much wiped out. hhhmmm, similarities to Prometheus? the creator wiping out its creation? the issue is though that the android is, in effect, blameless. it is only following is programming as best interpreted I think, it is us at the end of the day that is the ultimate bad guy in the alien films

Fair assessment. However, if you trust none, your death is assured.

death is a fact of life. its the one journey we all take. in alien, ash did it for me and now we see david, who is by timelines, an earlier android and again, would u turn ur back on either?

dk ur right he wasn't, im thinking bishop in alien3. I wouldn't say not trusting androids would mean death by op but I trust humans that have earned my trust. I just think its our natural fear of the unknown when it comes to the androids in alien. in AR, the world is 'what a sh**hole' according to mr Pearlman so something has happened and maybe the androids had a hand in that much like david seems to be the one who brings destruction the paradise

Well Dallas and Christie both said they don't trust anybody and they both died - so I guess it follows.

Good points. I don't think anyone has said anyone else is wrong. This is supposed to be fun- but we fan boys and girls seem to thrive on oneupsmanship  at times.

Picture this: You are in a room like in AVP with walls turning and such looking for a way out. You see 4 equal opportunities for escape. Those 4 escapes are Ash, Bishop, Call and David. Each extends a hand and tries to convince you only they can save you and the other 3 are lying.

well he has 'seen things we people wouldn't believe'. honestly, greatest dying scene ever. would have loved to have seen roy in an alien movie

ALI81, The symbolism with Roy releasing the dove (his spirit?)as he died and it ascending heavenward, deep, classic Sir Ridley Scott.

Rutger was brilliant. credit to that scene has to go to him as he was the one who changed the original lines. his roy would cause so much havoc in the alien world the human species would be on the endangered list

Nice trivia, didn't realize that. Ha, I agree. dk, I hope Bladerunner is in the alien universe! Tyrell Corporation Weyland-Yutani.
