What if Dr. E. Shaw didn't get pregnant just one?

The Origin

May be on the way to her destination, that thing hatches out leaving David the only witness and the ship finally bounded on the planet and destroy all the engineers.

Indeed this is something i discussed before..

Shaws Pregnancy came from one of TWO ways.

1) Black Goo that Holloway had, mutated his Sperm that then infected Shaws Egg.

2) Black Goo (Top half of the vials) contains a Parasitic Worm that like a Virus or Sexually Transmitted Disease was passed onto Shaw via Sexual Intercourse.

Shaw as a Mammal, once she is pregnant she cant become pregnant again until after the birth of her Child.

So it depends on the life span of any Mutated Sperm,  or Parasitic Worms... if these can survive for days, then yes after her C-Section one of these could then get her Pregnant again.

If option 2)  is what happened then this leaves David able to do the same experiment again, if all Holloway was is a means to pass on the Parasitic Worms to Shaw.

David would have to then find some other more invasive methods... "Big Things have Small Beginnings" and all LOL

But yes if either if the above applies then yes she could still get pregnant again,  and if its number 2) then David can perform this at any time of his choosing.

The thing was ready pop out of her 10 hours after she shagged Charlie.

If there was another one, it would've burst out of her before she and David left LV-223.

Yes, they had at least 5-6 days before leaving on 1st of January, 2094. But who knows, perhaps they were not alone on the ship. :) That would support the hint mentioned by Fassbender.

The order of the scenes is very interesting at the end of Prometheus. It is shown that they fly away, then it is followed by the Deacon birth scene.

They stayed 5-6 days and did not return to the pod? Ok, it can be said that they thought it was dangerous, but I wouldn't have left LV-223 without trying to get useful things, tools, etc from it.

I recorded a clip from the movie with my iPhone. When they activate the hologram of Shaw at the engineer's navigation chair one of the female characters asks, what is she doing out here...pregnant? It's tough deciphering the word "pregnant" when she says it because she's speaking in a low voice. But that's very much what it sounds like if you listen to the clip 10 times in a row.

** She says "poor thing" ** correction

cgmoseley I noticed the "poor thing" but I thought it was because Shaw looked restrained. I didn't notice the pregnant bit.....back to the blue ray.
