MemberPraetorianFeb-22-2017 3:29 PMThis has become a popular theory as of late,so I credit all those who inspired it.Here's my spin on the theory.Of course we all Shaw was impregnated by a black goo infected Holloway, and eventually gave birth(via c-section) to the trilobite. What is likely that it may have left some DNA behind in her.You may recall that the trilobite came with an umbilical cord.We also know that, thanks to the hammerpedes and much like the facehuggers, that the black goo byproducts have a tremendous healing speed l.So what if something left behind from the trilobite's umbilical cord started to grow inside Elizabeth Shaw, and i'm not talking about another trilobite. One possible angle is an egg/ovamorph,perhaps it starts growing and expanding within Shaw before David has to put her in stasis.Since it's possibly a part of making perhaps impossible to remove,David's experiments are possibly the results of him trying to figure out how to successfully remove.I'll admit that one has some holes in it.Another angle would the black goo from the trilobite has potentially woven itself into her DNA,causing her to evolve into something, maybe a queen Alien or more likely a bastardisation of it(think Cale in Aliens:Fire and Stone.)Shaw perhaps becomes the mother of a new breed(think of the different looking egg and the protomorph)and David is perhaps trying to reverse it.What do you guys think?

MemberPraetorianFeb-24-2017 1:17 AMdk some time ago proposed the idea of a tv series.I was initially against the idea, but after reading Fire and Stone I'm starting to think it may not be such a bad idea after all.

MemberNeomorphFeb-24-2017 1:25 AMnot sure tbh, imo something about a series takes something away from it and the series isn't a success. look at the sarah conner series. lots of potential but it didn't do terminator any justice. didn't harm it either to be fare but I think the problems they may face would be showing to much of the aliens too often and running out of ideas for genuinely good original alien creatures. one of the reasons alien was so successful is that u don't see much where the xeno is concerned. maybe a one off 6 part series would do. enough to give us something else but not too much it gets boring

MemberPraetorianFeb-24-2017 1:29 AMI had compared why i didn't like the idea to the Sarah Connor Chronicles. It was good at first, but some where in the middle of season 2 it really ran off the rails. My can tell you more about that,he's a much bigger Terminator fan than i.

MemberNeomorphFeb-24-2017 2:01 AMthey could do fire and stone style series but id like to see that in a trilogy. or a series between alien and aliens maybe

MemberPraetorianFeb-24-2017 2:06 AMNetflix or another streaming service would be a good way the go.HBO wouldn't be a bad idea either.

MemberPraetorianMar-15-2017 9:37 AMI asked on another thread days ago and no one had seen or read that they had see Dr. Elizabeth Shaw in the released trailers, viral material. Ridley Scott clearly stated Dr. Shaw wasn't in the movie but had to admit Dr. Shaw had a "small part" after the leak she showed up for filming. My theory was that her only part in Alien: Covenant released in May is her dog/ID tag hanging.
Thank you for your responses.
Anything yet on seeing Dr. Shaw from anyone?
Not to harp on this but Alien: Covenant may leave huge questions, like Prometheus, at it's end and show what happened to Dr. Shaw in a later movie.

MemberNeomorphMar-15-2017 9:45 AMim guessing shel be in a flashback but if she has become something else, we surely r bound to see. there is the possibility she is still in stasis. david could have taken dna samples and frozen her again?

MemberOvomorphMar-20-2017 5:27 PMI'm thinking Elizabeth Shaw gets eggmorphed. It's pretty disturbing to think about, but from what I'm reading this wouldn't surprise me at all. It happened to Dallas in Alien but was cut from the movie. Basically, I think she gets turned into the egg in which a facehugger grows. Not sure if David does this with the help of the black goo but I'm betting somehow this is her fate. It will be interesting to see.

MemberDeaconMar-20-2017 5:45 PMI think indeed we can be almost certain that Shaws Body would be required for David to conduct or advance his experiments.
But in which way or ways would Shaw be used for this... i think there are a number of possibilities i am not sure Egg Morphed would be one though... I would assume that Her Eggs however at very least have to play a Role in Davids Experiments.
Likely...
*Her DNA is used to Clone Humanoids or similar
*Her Eggs are used to test the Black Goo on.
*She is infected to have more Trilobites
*She is made Pregnant to carry Humanoid Embryos (have to wonder how this happens).
*Or she is Mutated into a Hybrid that offers a form of Procreation David can experiment on.
