Do we really know what the

Okay so recently I read the novel 'Prey' by author Michael Crichton, (yes, the Michael Crichton that wrote 'Jurassic Park') which is about Nano-Technology, and after reading it, I started thinking about the movement of the so-called "Spores" and realized something, in the trailer we see the spores going up and backwards of the character that disturbs the pods, but when we see it again it is entering another's ear which if it is the same spore cloud we see released then why would there be another character facing to the person in front of him's left and if it is the same character then that would still be very strange considering spores are unable to move on their own and if you say 'it's because there is wind' you're wrong because the wind is blowing the opposite direction of the character that's why the spore's would be blowing that direction they were, and they were moving towards his ear as if there was a vacuum in his ear sucking it towards it and the spore when we see it seems to be expanding and contracting to move similar to squids, which makes me believe that they are in fact Nano-Technology, the pods even remind me of the constructors in 'Prey'.

I think that it's an editing thing in the trailers, when it goes in the character Rigby plays ear he isn't wearing a hat but in the new trailer at that part he is. It more than likely happens at a different part of the movie it's just cut like that for the trailer I think.

I think the spores are at least near the Juggernaut as you can see here (where flashlight is being shone).  Everyone appears to have hats on in this shot too, so I'm not sure when/where Rigby gets "ear-spored".

The new trailer miss-leads us... makes us think..

Wow.. it was Crudup who trod on the Spores....

No its not as he has different shoes..

Check out This

During the scenes in the Grass/Wheat Field in both trailers we dont see Rigby at all  apart from the Ear Infection shot from the first trailer... and maybe being brought back by Ejogo in the 2nd trailer

I think the spores are just the results of a black goo infested native spore-producing fungus/plant. So you got an innocent fungus/plant,native to the Covenant planet, David experimented with the goo on it, it mutates. The spores now contains Xeno DNA and are ready to infect people.

it was never disproven that the substance even if David says organic cannot be partly atleast Nano tech or have similarities :-) its quite interesting where nature stops and mechanics take over, bio-mechanics are absolutely fascinating and no one really knows :-)
