Alien themed food for parties?
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-06-2017 7:14 PMForget about "scary meals" from McDonald's based on movies. How about something else in the spirit of say- this burger called the Unholly Communion Burger named after the band Ghost.
For Alien themed food, it doesn't just have to be burgers. To start the idea, I propose cooked peeled shrimp in a shrimp cocktail bowl called “the Embryo”?
Or crab with a lobster tail posed to look like a face hugger?

MemberFacehuggerMar-06-2017 10:01 PMMight sound complicated a bit, but if you have large pickling jars, maybe make a chestburster or facehugger out of fruit and suspend it in clear (but flavored) gelatin.
It might look like a specimen jar?
I personally really dig the crab and smoked clams idea DK listed above.

MemberTrilobiteMar-06-2017 10:11 PMIt is all about fun and doing as cheaply and easily as possible among friends. Pickling/fermenting is a great idea, is pretty cheap and easy.

MemberFacehuggerMar-06-2017 10:40 PMdont forget half eaten donuts and a cup of coffee on every table and desk around
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-06-2017 10:59 PMThere are un eaten doughnuts in your world? I can't relate to such a fancy pants existence. Maybe you should go to an Alien convention in Vegas for a couple days in a hotel on the Strip.

MemberFacehuggerMar-07-2017 12:42 AMwtf?
the mystery of the half eaten donut is one of the most renowned fan lore from Aliens.
maybe you should get to know the franchise better and worry less about ever getting or giving head.

MemberFacehuggerMar-07-2017 12:45 AM@DK- Legit spit my coffee out laughing, nice.
As far as food/burgers inspired by, maybe black goo/embryo based? 2 Beef patties with fried eggs in between and covered in a dark (maybe teriyaki) sauce?
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-07-2017 12:55 AMI won't worry about giving or getting- but the post surely got a rise out of you!

MemberFacehuggerMar-07-2017 1:02 AMwell enjoy the cool alien food in the basement parties with the 2 people you know then, funny man.
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-07-2017 1:04 AMNycro Yes I think a teriyaki type sauce. A red wine slow reduction with some seasonings could work too?
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-07-2017 1:05 AMInquisitor Fifield The less the merrier! Maybe you should re read the thread.

MemberFacehuggerMar-07-2017 1:07 AMFor sure!
for desert you could go with something frozen so you could say it's cryo-frozen and smother that in black goo chocolate sauce.
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-07-2017 1:08 AMDeserts offer a whole other level of possibilities- especially in the warm months.

MemberOvomorphMar-07-2017 1:44 AMJust bake a horseshoe crab at 350 for 2 hours and tada, you would definitely have a Facehugger entree! :-) :-)
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-07-2017 1:50 AMIndeed. It could be hollowed out and filled with clams, oysters. fish- whatever creativity, time and budget allow. But that crab vibe definitely is the attention grabber!
dk
MemberTrilobiteMar-07-2017 2:42 AMNow dive in to the ranch or blue cheese dip Alien 3 ending style!...........................or a steam cooker.
