Alien: Covenant Neomorph fan art thread
Dark Nebula
StaffNeomorphMar-09-2017 11:40 AM*UPDATED*
Fans from all over the internet made some interesting and wonderful designs of the Alien: Covenant's new alien creatures, the Neomorphs.
I personally thought it would be fun to share and feature some of the Neomorph fan art people have created (that I happen to find).
Even before Alien: Covenant hit the big screens there were already fan arts of these vicious creatures.
Share any you find and credit the artists if you have a link to their website/profiles.
Have your own Neomorph fan art? Share it.

MemberDeaconMar-09-2017 4:48 PMsome nice work there...
Especially these TWO
I think something that combines both of these is actually going to be pretty accurate to what we will see in this movie

StaffNeomorphMar-11-2017 4:04 AMHeres a really interesting Neomorph study by Ahmed.pharyhin pharyhin.adz
I can see this one pretty accurate to the one Neomorph from the second trailer that we will see in the movie.

MemberDeaconMar-11-2017 9:42 AMIts hard to say for sure..
Forgive me for my poor editing lol
But if you can imagine i think this is close to what the Neomorph looks like

MemberDeaconMar-11-2017 9:47 AMMaybe the Eyes smaller and closer to the front but i see similar eyes and ears in this position.. maybe eyes smaller and more to the front but indeed this is what it looks like in the Trailers to me
I think it combines some elements of these unused Ultramorphs with a dome thats more rounded. and Bulbous.

StaffNeomorphMar-14-2017 7:23 AMHeres my banner with Daniels and Neomorph that I made back in December.
@A L I E N 4 2 6 According to the set visit reports, there will be adult Neomorphs. Those small Neomorphs from the trailer we've seen are not fully developed (not going to spoil).
May 19,hurry up!

MemberDeaconMar-14-2017 8:56 AMIndeed the Set Reports claim that some Dancers was cast to play a Neomorph in a Suit (could be Xeno) but i think Neomorph with like Blade extensions to their Legs
These are not attached to a amputee though and they made the Dancer/Actor nearly 3M in height so thats between 9-10ft tall which indeed would make for some Enormous Aliens as Waterston had said in a interview in the past.

MemberFacehuggerMar-14-2017 12:54 PM@Nebula I love that poster! Are you referring to that "goblin shark" report comparison? It's a relief that the concept Beluga Xenomorph will be done justice and it's interesting that it'll have the hinged jaw of the Deacon
Dark Nebula
StaffNeomorphMar-14-2017 1:15 PMI was referring to the Set visit report, and they talked about Neomorphs.
(Copied and pasted from the site)
- The Neomorph’s physiology is inspired by the goblin shark.
- The Neomorph grows quickly, and we’ll see about five versions of the beast throughout the film, from adolescence through adulthood.
- They also looked at gulper eels and jellyfish as inspiration for translucent exteriors and textures. Aquatic creatures were the biggest inspiration.
(Im glad you like my poster)

MemberFacehuggerMar-14-2017 1:58 PMOh yeah I didn't see that! That actually gives credit for the trailer for not showing the Neos at full strength. If I remember correctly the Neos escape to the woods to finish their growth cycle. It'll be interesting to see how they make s comeback and how they interact with the Protomorph

MemberNeomorphMar-15-2017 9:47 AMThis is an interesting thread. I like the fact that some people can draw very fine drawings, it probably takes time to become that good but it is impressive.

As far as the Set Reports we have to remember they may not be experts on all things Alien and get stuff mixed up a bit, they will just say it how they saw it...
And so the 5 stages could be designs, these could be props they created that wont be used, they could be in the movie as previous versions that David created that he evolved.
Some set reports said they saw the Deacon, this clearly had the Goblin Shark Influence and so i think this is a trait the Neomorphs may carry over... but the person who said the Deacon returns, they also said they cant wait for it and mentioned Jurassic Park Raptor
Now the Deacon does not have a Tail....
However Fire and Stone Comics toyed with Deacons with Tails, so maybe it develops a Tail or similar organisms related to it either from the Goo or as a procreation method of the Deacon produced Deacons with Tails as far as what Fire and Stone was working on before they just had Xenos instead.
So maybe indeed a Deacon could be the basis for the starting point of the experiments?
I doubt the Deacon from Prometheus makes it to the ship, but Fassbender said "as far as we know" when asked about if David and Shaw arrive at Paradise alone... I however think this would be a big FLAW as the movie showed David and Shaw left before the Deacon was birthed and Concept work showed the Deacon had left the Lifeboat just to witness David and Shaw on their way as the Juggernaught leaves the Moon.
So the "as far as they know" could mean Engineer in Cryo, or maybe Worms who knows... A Deacon would pose a threat to David and Shaw so that makes a bit of a Plot Hole.
So if we see Deacons in this movie even if only as previous experiments then David would have to RE-CREATE the Experiments...
Which would need a bit of intervention if it was merely Nano-worms that needed Holloway as a means to pass them onto Shaw like a Sexually Transmitted Disease if so then DAVID could Re-infect Shaw
Or David would need a Humanoid Male for Sperm... maybe Engineer or related or indeed, a Male and Female...
So its a lot of interesting options...
As the SMOKING GUN... is Davids experiments would needed Hosts as you cant Perfect or Evolve something if you have no means to see previous attempts full Life-Cycle.
And.... There are Human or Humanoid Baby/Fetus Skulls in his Lab/Work shop and these dont grow on trees.

MemberDeaconMar-15-2017 11:47 PMI will add the set report when they claimed the Deacon and mentioned Raptor... makes me wonder did they say stages of the Neomorphs which does have a Tail and a Raptor type Body Proportions.
As far as the Neomorph we have confirmed so far
*A Embryo Stage that breaks from the Back/Throat, that is small maybe like Rabbit sized and Aggressive.
This maybe grows fast as the shot when Farris (Amy Seimetz) attempts to shoot it, it appears to be larger like double the size of potentially the Back Burster, but then it could be the angle etc in the trailer.
*We definitely see a Larger version that attacks at night (Tess Haubrich) which looks about 3-4ft tall
*Then the reports of a Dancer wearing those Blade Runner type Blades that makes them nearly 3M Tall means we will see a Fully Grown 9ft+ version.
So thats 3-4 stages of growth, i wander if the Neomorph at a certain stage can Metamorph into a Creature with different features when fully grown?
As clearly the Chest Buster Xeno and Adult Xeno are different and i wonder if we would be seen a FIRST (as far as i know) and a Stage Between Chest Buster and Big Chap (Adult) for a Xenomorph that would be interesting to see say a 3-4 foot one of those.

MemberDeaconMar-21-2017 1:23 AMFrom a basic standpoint i think the work above is pretty accurate, i do however think the Neomorph's have eyes.
So from the front i am expecting similar to this..

StaffNeomorphMar-21-2017 8:53 AM@BigDave updated that editing of yours a bit,if you don't mind.
Something like this?
(for some reason I think the eye looks silly)

MemberFacehuggerMar-21-2017 9:26 AMWhere's your evidence supporting that they have eyes?? In all of the stills and GIFs that I've seen of them, I've seen no eyes. I hope they don't. They look scarier without them
