New rules for theories in light of news post, Meet Walter viral, and SXSW roundup (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)

MemberChestbursterMarch 11, 2017Thought it would be appropriate to have a thread for discussion regarding the new parameters theories must be subjected to in light of what was revealed in the SXSW news roundup, the Meet Walter viral, and the recent post on the news page "Engineers did NOT create Humanity or the Xenomorph" which revealed the intergalactic humanoid hierarchy.
What can we now safely assume in light of this new information? Furthermore, what ideas must we now part with?
What I gathered personally:
The factions theory has been partially validated, though it now seems more grandiose than what many of us originally theorized.
It appears that David is definitely trying to create or recreate the xenomorph intentionally.
It is definitely David standing there when Crudup gets facehugged (though the way the sources worded it, it is possible it is David in Walter's body)
Daniels is not related to Ripley
The reveal of a race of humanoids above the engineers with the ability to manipulate planetary forces and create huge natural disasters, enhances the possibility that this paradise planet is in fact LV-426 prior to some transformative event. (if this is the case it could mean Scott is wrapping up the Alien prequel here so that he can depart from it and delve into the greater universe of Prometheus with future films)
