Cerulean Blue: Yeah it would be lame to let David be the big guy in the chair. I hope that they will have a better explanation if they need to explain that.

@Chris - Something is coming....yes.  Many things are coming.  The end of the solar system is coming too but it really a question of "when" its coming.  Is this "something is coming" going to arrive prior to the movie premier?

Stevo, of course I'm kidding.  When I'm joking and switch to serious I usually say "on a serious note" and then state my case.  Other than that my sig generally explains my sense of humor.

Thoughts n Dreams - Dildomorph is an elusive beast.  I wouldn't have believed it existed if the forums here hadn't forced me to find the little nasty .  I am still trying to find Strappymorph.  He is even more elusive than Dildomorph

Time to meet our maker. A biomechanical being perhaps? The top dog so to speak.  Won't he be disappointed. =)

A comic book of sorts? A visual short to be released close to the film to give some additional information about what's coming or more backstory about what we already know. A separate story in the same universe connecting somehow?

Well, the first pic looks like eggs possibly under a blue field. The second looks like an Engineer head perhaps approaching the blue field in the lower left corner. Maybe it is about to get face hugged?

Is that "big face" the creator of the Engineers? It kind of looks like the big head statue in Prometheus.

Or perhaps....the "Satan" of the Engineers, the creator of the "Devils" (Xenomorph) and the one worshipped by the Engineers from Lv-223.

Ok, I think the image is teasing something about ALIEN: Covenant and I have multiple thoughts about whatever it's rappresented in it:

1) A superior being, worshipped by the humanoids on Paradise;

2) An evil entity, the creator of Xenomorph and the one rappresented by the statue in Prometheus;

3) I know it sounds crazy, but I think a possibility it's that it might be Elizabeth Shaw, mutated into something biomechanic, near the eggs and the "blue fog" (Shown in the previous teaser). This idea came in my mind because the head kind of looks "feminine"and it seems that there are some sort of tubes on it. It reminds me of the report about Shaw's concept art with multiple tubes on the head (even if the rest of the head it's not really shown in the picture).

First synthetic black goo combo...they did do that in Fire and Stone though.  I do notice that the head is the same as in the ampule room.. the 2 lines above the bridge of the nose!!   

It's Apocalypse!  He's responsible for the Xenos?  Crazy....a Marvel/Ridley crossover!!!

Stevbo - Nope the Xeno's were made by the same creatures that made the Transformers.  They're were cybernetic aka biomechanical....LOL

This is us amusing ourselves.  As you can tell most of us are a few cans short of a 6 pack.  This is what happens when people obsess over something and start lacking something new to pick apart.

@Rick - you're right...it can't be Apocalypse...no biomechanical components.  It's Megatron!

That was based off Sand Dollar to a degree, and indeed is very much Echinoderm Based and i am sure i had noticed something similar as far as one of the drawings in Davids Workshop ;)

OMG no...no...nooooooo....the...the...Dildomorph...it got him! 

Due to the lack of biomechanical characteristics, I am led to believe that the dildomorph pictured must have belonged to none other than the half mutated Dr. Elizabeth Shaw.  Does it spit black goo?  Is this how Shaw really became infected and mutates?

Furthermore, I am curious how the creature is able to carry 2 large firearms, both being held by the creature's right, hind leg.

That's what you get for buying stuff at an interstellar sex shop. Tzk tzk tzk, people never listen....

So Chris any more updates on this?
