This is for those more experienced than I.This is the first forum I've ever joined and i gotta say it's one of the best decisions I have ever made.I've been on here for roughly 3 months and have never once regretted it.I've made a lot of friends here, and while we don't always agree on the same things, this is such a fantastic, respectful, and amazing community.I really don't think I would have been taken as seriously elsewhere. Now for my question,I've been lurking on other forums from other sites for years and they had me worried about what it would be like here.A lot of nastiness and bullying and straight up trolling. That seldomly happens here,we've got Chris,Rick, and the others looking out for us,keeping the peace. So from your experiences elsewhere and compared to Scified, how have you guys been treated elsewhere compared to here?Because I love this place!

Porn? No, but some make innuendos and such. It is a case of identifying a poster who is notably dirty and everyone expects a certain kind of post from that individual. Then there are actually well educated music buffs who weigh in. It is fun. And then there are bands like FFDP and Nickleback who most love to hammer on although they have high record sales.

Honestly SM, MOP is my favorite. Justice would have been WAY better if Lars didn't shut the bass track off in the mix stage. It was really good but some of the songs seemed long for the sake of being long- Frayed Ends of Sanity for example.

I meant St Anger but yeah that whole era sucked and I respect Jason for bailing!

Agreed.I've been so demoralized by Metallica that I haven't even heard anything from the new album. But I heard it's actually pretty good so who knows

For Primus, I like Anti Pop best. I would recommend that to someone who wanted to check them out.

Except for one or two songs, Hardwired is awesome! It sort of spans their history except St Anger. If you liked KEA-ReLoad, you will enjoy! Some songs took a few listens to lock into but I really like it.

Primus has a lot of good stuff. Anti Pop is the best sonically and has a couple dark Pink Floydesque tunes that are outstanding!

Good to hear.I've heard a lot of good things about it.Not nearly as divisive as Death Magnetic

Death Magnetic is great but it was brickwalled. That means it is compressed and you hear unwanted distortion and you get ear fatigue. I have been told that the Guitar Hero mixes are better but I am too lazy to hunt them down. Death Magnetic is like something between MOP and the Black album- solid songs.

I always really dug All nightmare long and Cyanide, others like the day that never comes left me disappointed and wanting more, especially since it was frequently compared to ONE.No competition in my opinion

I love Day that never Comes! Especially right about the 5 minute mark when they go all instrumental. I think it blows One out of the water.

Noone ever gives love to Anaesthesia- Pulling Teeth. That is brutal and beautiful! It is also the only time a wah pedal really works and Kirk wasn't playing it. Hail Cliff!
