I must say that I really like this forum. It's one of two that I participate in.

Not a big Metallicafan, but as a guitarplayer I consider the black album beeing the top of their carreer. Sorry guys, but i think it has been downhill ever since. And for the wah-pedal... Kirk could, with a little practice, some day maybe learn how to use one...

Parkerparrot As a guitarist, if one is remembered because of an effect pedal, that is not a good thing imo. Both Kirk and Lars have gotten lazy. I know they are in their 50s, but so are other thrash bands that simply crush it.

Haha thanks for the kind words guys, I'm glad to see people enjoying the place. We do try to keep the peace as best we can but that can prove tricky. For the most part, compared to other forums I will say I'm quite pleased with the types of members we have here. The trolling and ego trips other forums tend to fall prey to don't exist here. I hope as we continue to grow that this positive atmosphere remains.

That's really kind of you to say. I've been here 5 years now (It's my 5 year anniversary here today!) and have enjoyed every minute making this forum a wonderful place for people to visit. It's been a lot of hard work, but very much worth it when I hear people like you give thanks. :D

on a more serious note, i get what you mean a lot of movie and games reviews on YT, the comments are just nasty pissing comps because someone has a different opinion or just trolls who have nothing better to do and sheep who just nod and agree without doing their own research, this is the only forum i i have sighned up too, because everyone here are a  friendly bunch who love sci-fi, and we have a laugh.

It is a great site and I usually give kudos to Chris. I need to give props to Rick and Svanya (whom I first saw today) and any others I may have missed who do behind the scenes work to keep this site running at the level that it does. Thank you.
