Hello all, a theory doing the rounds is that Perhaps the Xenos and face huggers gain acid blood through splicing with David's android DNA, but in Prometheus Fifield gets splashed by the pussy snake thing's blood when trying to cut it off Millburn and promptly gets face melted. This suggests they all had acid blood from the outset. Any thoughts? Thanks

I would have to say that the Acid Blood is a Trait passed on by the Black Goo and what ever means the Black Goo was obtained.

In the early drafts Fifield also had Acid Blood, and the Trilobite too, and this is how in the Full "Not yet Shown" Engineer vs Shaw attack the Engineer got his burns, the deleted scene was a miss mash too but they did shoot it where the Burn happened from after the attack by the Trilobite.
