Is it possible to put a Xeno into cryo sleep? I was thinking about the xeno life cycle and it occurred to me that if you cannot put a Xeno into cryo, then an egg would be the best method of transportation, seeing that in Alien the eggs could have been on LV 426 for centuries, maybe even longer. If that is the case, did Ash know this? Or was it something Ash only discovered after Kane had been face-hugged?

I'd say it's possible, I mean if the alien burst from a human, it probably inherited the ability to go under cryosleep. Upvoted!
The real question is, would that cryosleep chamber be big enough? lol :D

MemberDeaconMay-02-2017 5:36 PMI think Provided you have the right container then yes Xenomorphs can be stored, can they be put to sleep, i think maybe with some kinds of Cryo-sleep i think its possible.

MemberFacehuggerMay-02-2017 5:52 PMI’m not convinced entirely that you can put a xeno in cryo. My reason behind this is because of Ash stating that the facehugger had a habit of replacing cells with polorised silicon to give it protection against extreme environmental conditions. This suggests to me that cryo would present problems.
It has been suggested that Shaw could be ill, and we see David put her to sleep. My thoughts are that if there is still something in Shaw, putting her in an Engineer cryo chamber might be a futile gesture if David is trying to prevent something happening to her.

AdminPraetorianMay-02-2017 8:55 PMIt's possible cryo can slow down any genetic mutations/Xeno growth. I agree with you, I think Shaw's DNA might still be affected from exposure to Charlie and David kept her in stasis to slow progression. It's maybe why he's been studying so hard in the lab, to find a cure?
