The Hyped Geek: Alien:Covenant review

I'ts vague...not very informational...

Another that does not cover much..... but they have to be careful... i expect more full on reviews shortly.

someone who i have contact with had seen a Screener a few weeks ago and they claim the movie will certainly please Aliens Fans and Popcorn Flick kind of way but will disappoint Prometheus fans and totally upset Alien Fans (those who dont agree much with Camerons Aliens and on wards).

They said the pacing is a bit off after a while like Prometheus and its got a pace build up like Aliens and after 25 Minutes its quite a lot of Action and tries to cover to much in such small space of time.

3 Main Twists, one a surprise... the others very Predictable.

I can post more details soon.. but they said its more like a Alien 3 meets Alien Resurrection with a bit of Alien (Last Act) and Prometheus thrown in.

They rate it 6/10 and on par with Alien 3

Oh they said its a gory slasher movie, but that would not make it Scary as people are used to Gore, there are the usual Cheap Jump Scares, and it tries to build up some tense moments.

But like Prometheus it fails to get most of us to care about the Characters again, they mention that Lope does make us feel for him like we did with Janek.

There are a few Stupid Moments, so fans who complained about Milburn and Fifield will pick some bones with this movie, but other stupid stuff fans had a beef with Prometheus, those fans will have a field day with this movie.

But for the most part, Aliens, Eggs and Face Huggers will take some fans minds off such things... but the way they are handled will split some fans.
